I am new here so not sure how this works. But am wondering if this guy and I will get together in a committed relationship. Here is the synastry charts. I am on the outside. Hi, dustib, and welcome.Synastry is not a predictive branch of astrology; it's best for looking at preexisting energies and seeing how they combine and influence each other. For specific Y/N questions, Horary is a wonderful approach; you may consider posting the chart of the question itself there -- being sure to use the date and time when it first occurred to you that you wanted to know the answer. Progressions are a great way to see how things may be fluctuating and changing; natal synastry can tell a very different story from the progressed. It's better for the 'does it look like we'll become involved?' questions. The reason why the approach of synastry isn't very helpful with nonexistent relationships is that it requires a degree of fatalism and extreme certainty on behalf of the astrologer. For synastries of those, with whom one member would like to become romantically involved, it's best to take a more general approach, and simply ask, 'what are the dynamics here?' and leave the more specific 'WILL we?' to other astrological specialities. His Sun and Mercury in your 3rd, I assume you guys love to communicate, or at least you do with him. Your Moon sextiles his Uranus emotional excitement/fulfillment Your Sun opposites his Jupiter + Jupiter trine Jupiter adds even more Fun!Ah, the dreaded Venus square Uranus, and it looks like it's in exact orb...many if not most astrologers say this is the aspect of short term relationships. In my studies, as long as you share a saturn aspect in a tight orb a relationship that could stand the test of time is in your reach. Though this aspect alone is definitely not commitment worthy. This is pretty right on! Although at this point it's best to say it was a short term relationship unless something on his part changes. In the meantime, I'm continuing to live my life and not focusing on him...if he wants to be involved, he knows where to find me. Thank you all so much! IP: Logged |
