I never really thought anything but Eros effecting Psyche was important. Are aspects related to Psyche or Eros important in synastry? That sounds like a stupid question, lol. Also, my Psyche trines this man's Moon. That sounds really good? But I have no idea. What does it mean? Also, my Eros trines his Mars and his Psyche?!!! I'm thinking we're soulmates now! :O Can you link me to any sites that give descriptions of aspects in synastry between Psyche and the planets? IP: Logged |

EROS trining MARS/PSYCHE is a nice linkage, and could be Soulmate potential. I'd prefer to see the opposite resonance for complimentariness: PSYCHE trine VENUS/EROS, for example. MOON trine PSYCHE can be a nice, soulful connexion. A sense of deep understanding. PSYCHE and EROS are natural partners; when one is aspecting or paired with another point in a chart, there remains a secret longing for the other. Even if it's a minor aspect, it remains a sense of 'searching'. I honestly prefer female PSYCHE to male EROS. Female EROS to male PSYCHE can feel unbalanced -- but that's me. Again, if there's resonance, that can create an energetic link. Usually if they're linked to an adjunct point; say, were there no aspect between EROS and PSYCHE, but they were each linked by a tertiary point; MOON, VENUS, MARS, SUN or VALENTINE, ideally. Example: Male EROS trine female VENUS sextile male MARS quindecile female PSYCHE. That's a beautiful resonance linking not only the classic male-female archetype (which is the basis of EROS/PSYCHE, it's just more, as you said, Soulmate-related) but the man's EROS is linked by the mutual VENUS/MARS energy to the woman's PSYCHE. A less complex picture might be formed: Male EROS sextile female MOON square female PSYCHE Even if they're not aspecting, they're 'bonding' via the female's MOON. In application, her emotional world and approach to nurturing as well as her personality can link his EROS nature to her PSYCHE. There are many ways to create affinity and energetic resonance. Is there something like that with your PSYCHE and his EROS? IP: Logged |

Aubyanne, no one ever mentions Eros conjunctions to Eros. Or psyche to psyche. Are they worth mentioning??IP: Logged |

Absolutely! If NEPTUNE is the higher octave (refinement) of VENUS, and PLUTO of MARS, then think of EROS as the penultimate form of its expression, (with OSIRIS being the ultimate). Likewise with PSYCHE: VENUS --> NEPTUNE --> PSYCHE. PSYCHE is a feminine representation of the soul, as the mythological and energetic counterpart to EROS. She is love at the height of innocence, purity, and loving devotion. Martha Lang-Wescott has also named her in regards to 'psyche' -- as in psychology, and can also denote traumatic experience, or 'soul wounding'. When PSYCHE 'sees' another's PSYCHE, there's a profound soul connexion, and sense of deep understanding. So anytime EROS -- romantic longing and the creative force of eroticism -- is in relationship to another's EROS, there's a simpatico among each other's deepest sexual and creative drive. This isn't MARS; it's not out for hedonic pleasures. It's EROS, seeking a soulful relationship with intense, transformative sexuality. IP: Logged | |
