For example, two friends who are not together and have not dated; but have known eachother for some time.

One can probably say something like (EXAMPLE) 'yeah, but you haven't really shown me much attention' and the other responds saying something like 'yeah, but all you need to do is talk to me and ask me to hang out. I'll come and see you'

I'm very tempted to say Pluto Opposite Venus.

Any other aspects?

Well, my best friend and me, though we practically never argue, have often been compared to a married couple, I suppose the endurance of the bond made people say that, and the unwavering loyalty and commitment to make this friendship work and grow and prosper (and sometimes it takes a bit of an effort, though even working on it feels rather effortless, or actually neither of us questions it).

Anyway my Pluto is conjunct her Venus by 2 degrees (and actually conjuncts her Juno exact. lol And her Mars and Mercury by 2 degrees as well).

This is all feeling stuff, no matter the gender. Like Ceri was saying, intense aspects in a couple's synastry are still going to have some impact between friends.

Look at MOON aspects. And, since VENUS is our attitude on affection, that's a good one to check, too.

Is one VENUS in Air while the other's is in Earth? The Airy VENUS will see chatting online, correspondence, and the more 'current events' style of conversation adequate gestures of friendship, whereas Earth would more appreciate helping them rearrange the furniture, or even planting their garden with them. As you can expect, the Fiery set are going to want dramatic displays, and the Water needs to talk about their feelings, rather than current events.

Friends tend to get crossways due to unmet unspoken expectations. Thing is, with friends, we don't think immediately about bringing it to their attention and confronting them, as we would a partner or our spouse. That seems to be a cultural thing I've noticed pretty much across the board, no matter the heritage. Oh, it varies, but in general, we tend to 'let it go' more often.

And for the Water and Fire VENUS, that's going to build. Simmer. Fester beneath the surface. For the Earth and Air, it's going to be logically or practically disregarded, with a tendency to institute distance on a long enough timeline. It'll seem you're 'growing apart'.

That's why, though it goes against traditional theory, MOON/VENUS squares cause less issue than we'd think; there's typically a basic understanding between the two natures. Meanwhile, Fire tends to grok Air, and Water, Earth. But Water and Fire can both agree, more attention, appreciation, activity, caring, affection, or even emotion, is better.

So, I wonder. How're the VENUS and MOON aspects with these two? There may be a basic 'failure to communicate' on the emotional / expression of affection - level.

Interestingly in the case of my friend and me our Moons are sextile (hers in Aries, mine in AQuarius).
What really amazes me though is that her Dr Sun is conjunct my tropical Moon (3 degrees) while my Dr Sun conjuncts her tropical Moon exactly.

(well my Saturn is also squaring her Moon exact, while her Saturn opposes mine with 5 degrees).

As for the Venus positions, my Venus is in Capricorn, hers is in Libra (but conjunct Mercury, Mars and most of all Pluto there, while my Venus squares Pluto).

To be honest at a time it sometimes got a bit exhausting to me, the frequent phonecalls. Well I love talking to her, but every other day for 3 hours? This was a bit much.

I think she might have the greater need to chat and talk, whereas I now and then need a little space and.

But all in all we have some mitigating factors as well, like my Venus being loosely conjunct her DESC (5 degrees) for example.

We have very different taste, at least partially, though complementary. It`s like we agree on the big things, but the details vary.
For example we both liked writing. Her style was more short and to the point, very ironical and cutting. Mine was more or less a little more like taken from a romance novel. lol

Or when she forced me to write the script for a small play in their church (about the exodus interestingly. lol), and the challenge was to integrate all the children.
Her dancers (she is a semi-professional choreograph as well) who would neither sing nor act; the actors who would neither sing nor dance; the choir who would neither dance nor act.

Anyway after getting down the rough sketches she left the writing of the dialogue and the structuring mostly to me, and we then sat down and were musing together what the songs and dance needed to convey, and she was of course picking the songs and doing the choreo.

It was an example how we can work together very well, because each of us has slightly different skills, but we have an overall agreement and common base.

No surprise there then, I can see that there is an aspect between Moon and Uranus lol.

Funnily enough, my moon is in Aries and my friend's is in Cancer. So there's the emotion right there!
