This is my first Saturn contact in synastry that I'm aware of, but it's making me wonder what Saturn is really capable of...My Virgo Saturn is conjunct his Venus (exact) and his Mars His Scorpio Saturn is opposite my Taurus Moon I've read good and bad things about Saturn in synastry, but it mostly sounds like the bad medicine you need to take in order to make things work long term. I read words like binding, stuck, attached...those are the good words... But could Saturn make you feel so connected to someone, so familiar with someone, that you would venture outside of your usual (perhaps cautious and selective) sexual nature and sleep with someone you barely know? My life is too complicated for a relationship right now, but if this man were to pursue a committed long term relationship with me, it would happen. In this way Saturn seems to be inspiring spontaneity, maybe recklessness in me... We have a few hot asteroid contacts like his Amor conjunct my Eros in Pisces, and I definitely experienced that during sex, but that's not what got me in bed with him. We discussed it. He was the pursuer. I submitted. Although I can be quite passive in relationships, I am also very guarded and self protective. Here I just went all in, and I'm not disappointed I did. Was this Saturn? Side note: I am super intrigued by Saturn in Scorpio. IP: Logged |

interestingi recently faced a wannabe affair: moon opposite saturn, node/saturn conjunct sun, saturn trine sun/asc. She was like "okay, he's the only one I wouldn't feel disgusted when having sex with him immediately and only" IP: Logged |

I am certainly unconventional when it comes to my romantic involvements, but because my heart is always so willing to believe and eager to love, I am very strict with myself about who I involve with. I'm thinking maybe it takes significant Saturn contacts to make me take chances the way I have recently...IP: Logged |

Spontaneity & Saturn in the same sentence does not compute to me lolThere has to be something else going on in the synastry that's giving you that *I'd jump in head first* feeling. Some Uranus??? IP: Logged |

lol. That's funny. I can kind of relate to the way she was thinking. I appreciate his work ethic, his understanding of his responsibility to the people in his life. Even though I don't consider myself a part of his life, he makes me feel safe. In fact he was after a relationship- something I can't do right now... Who was Moon and was Saturn? Could you distinguish this aspect from the others? Do you mind sharing what that felt like and what signs those planets were in? I think I can identify Moon Saturn where I'm the Moon, but I can't tell about Saturn (me) Venus/Mars (him) IP: Logged |

That's the thing! Uranus is a major player in my life. It's a 4th house Scorpio Uranus and after Mercury my chart ruler, Uranus is second most influential. My Uranus is completely unaspected! IP: Logged |

The uranus is what starts the engine, but the saturn is what keeps it on the road, minus a few pit-stops (lessons) :-) IP: Logged |

Sure: her saturn/node in virgo in 2nd does conjunct his sun in virgo in 11h and opposes his moon in pisces in 5h His saturn in scorpio in 2nd house does trine her sun/asc in cancer Either they escape from each other or they will stay together for a while IP: Logged |

I mean heavy saturn contacts can feel too restrictive for some individual and hence they try and break freeIP: Logged |

All I know is I hate Saturn sq Venus in synastry and you two don't have it! That's pretty much the extent of my personal Saturn experiences in Synastry IP: Logged |

I think Saturn synastry aspects, will depend on how each person handles it from their own natal. Me personally I don't do well with heavy Saturn synastry. There's a whole generation with Saturn in Leo, I have met many men who's Saturn conjunct my sun, moon, mercury. It was way to much for me.. A relationship never developed between me and this generation. To heavy, I was completely not interested in these men. IP: Logged |

It's more this than anything. SATURN is determination, drive, and dedication. So if you're on a runaway train launched by URANUS, then SATURN is going to keep it going. IP: Logged |

Strange you both have OSIRIS conjunct MOON -- or is it out of orb? It's still thematic. This is largely about exploring 'the divine masculine'.IP: Logged |

Koho, do you not like Venus squaring your Saturn? Their Venus square your Saturn would also mean their Venus is squaring your Moon... Or is it their Saturn to your Venus? I know you like your Venus to be handled a certain way, lol. IP: Logged |

I think this is true. I'm new to astrology so Saturn in synastry is something I haven't had the opportunity to pay attention to. Pluto brought me to astrology and to this forum. Pluto is everywhere, but when I'm not caught up in Pltuo, I am usually close to, involved with, attracted to a Capricorn, and I love that energy. It usually feels like a relief and comfort after a Pluto episode. IP: Logged |

Excellent point Aubyanne. About Moon Osiris, I noticed that too. It does look out of orb, but my Moon is conjunct his Osiri/DSC by 1 degree. His Moon is conjunct my Osiri by 2. What does "exploring 'the divine masculine'" mean? I have read this online, but I just can't grasp a clear understanding of what that could possibly mean. IP: Logged |

Dito. I natally have venus sextile saturn and my 7h is ruled by saturn. I don't mind Saturn contacts in synastry but they mustn't be too heavy. There's a generation that conjuncts my sun + asc with their saturn. I can hardly bear that. I would always feel critized and unloved. That generation has lost me so far

Good questions! I hate their Saturn squaring my Venus. It just slows down the fun times too much or stops it earlier than expected. I've been through that energy so many times that I know not to bother with the process. My Saturn square their Venus, never had that. But it would be harder to feel since Saturn is hanging around with 3 other planets so that Venus would square 3 generational placements and my Moon I like the way you put it My Venus definitely like to be handled a certain way. And overwhelmingly it seems the Air Mars know what's up. Gemini Mars taking the lead, Libra Mars 2nd, and the occasional Aquarius Mars. I'm a true believer of Mars-Venus especially when the man is the Venus. It'll be very hard to convince me this is not the number 1 indicator of attraction. Looks like you have your Mars over his 8th house squaring his Mars and Venus. And a Venus sextile! I bet you drive him crazy in more ways than one. Poor guy doesn't stand a chance IP: Logged |

@ KohoI've been Venus in Mars square Venus. That's hard for me to identify because my Pluto also squaring natal Venus was conjunct his Mars... Lol. Mars square Mars is supposed to be the worst in synastry...but Virgo and Gemini are both ruled by Mercury. Even if they square each other, I would think they find some compatibility... In general I like Virgo Mars. I think Virgo and Gem Mars should be able to get on the same kinky page. I think outside of sex I like Virgo's drive and intention, and I dont mind being instructed (about how to do things more efficiently) as long as the advice is good. However my Saturn conjunct his Mars. If that means I put on the brakes it's true. I think where sex is concerned this could be very annoying to Virgo Mars... IP: Logged |

Hey Charlie. That's quite a few aspects. How are those Moon Saturn aspects for you? IP: Logged |

Well, I would be lying if I said that my Uranus (all over chart ruler) isn't bucking and kicking at all the Saturn :-/ But I have been a wild child for over 30 years and need the stability he offers. It's very heavy at times and all I want to do is break free. Some days I have to try HAAAAAAAAARD :-/ My Saturn sq his Moon is quite hidden I think, seeing as his moon is opposite my Uranus. He calls me an untameable horse and it is true but I am learning. In Natal he has Taurus Moon conj Saturn and his Moon is in the Capricorn decan. I have a Capricorn Moon (saturn) opp. Saturn, in Taurus decan, so all in all we are quite balanced. We take turns blowing fuses Now, if only his Aries Sun would take a chillpill or 6 things would be real swell. IP: Logged |
