As I was do some research on the Internet, I came across this article and thought that it was quite interesting. There's so much more to the compability between two people and this article makes that quite clear. For example, my ex boyfriend is a Virgo sun and rising. Very earthy and by his own admission... Very placid. Me on the other hand? I'm quite expressive and intense. I'm a Gemini sun and Scorpio rising. I've also got quite a lot of Fire in my chart. On the surface, it would seem (or I would have argued) that we would like partners similar to ourselves. However, we are quite drawn together and we admire what the other one brings to the table. I think this can be explained (partially) when I look at the condition of our 7th houses. 1. My 7th house is ruled by Taurus (Earth!) 2. His 7th house contains his Mars which is in Aries (fire!), but the house is actually ruled by Pisces. 3. My 7th house contains my Gemini sun and Gemini Mercury, which is the ruler of Virgo. Just thought it was interesting... Have a read http://www.ncgr-turkey.com/TheI-Thou_axis_and-seventh-house.htm Enjoy! IP: Logged |

What a great read to know!I have Gemini on the 7th house. I found myself attracted to Gemini moon or Gemini/virgo mercury. My mercury in 3rd house though. My ex Aries sun/Gemini moon is very knowledgeable and it's intrigued me. I learn a lot from him. IP: Logged |

Uau. It makes a lot of sense to me. I have the cusp of the 7th in Virgo. The guy I like has Mars in Virgo and he's very grounded and practical (Saturn as chart ruler haha) But sometimes I'm afraid of his pickiness because I'm really sensitive (ASC Pisces) ughIP: Logged |

From the article, (excellent, Ikja) this applies to me.Aquarius on the 7th house cusp and/or Uranus in the 7th: Leo Rising has the need, as a kind of birthright, to feel important, be noticed, and be appreciated; it wants to stand out from the crowd, to present itself as a single, unique individual in its own right, and to establish its selfhood. Leo Rising can also be somewhat dramatic, often displaying a sense of entitlement, along with a magnetic, charismatic personality. Along with these qualities, Leo Rising also often brings natural warmth, an innate sense of joy, generosity of heart, and the capacity to give lots of love and affection. But in return, it also expects from its partner -- no matter the partner’s sign -- a high degree of admiration, praise, and recognition. With Aquarius on the cusp of the 7th house, Leo Rising may find itself actually seeking a partner whose perspective places less emphasis on the personal self and its need for individual expression -- someone more geared to goals and concerns that apply equally to all people. When Leo Rising’s more typical self-emphasis is tempered by cool, objective reasoning from its soulmate, allowing it to see itself as part of a greater whole, Leo Rising can learn from its inner Aquarian to be generous in a detached way, without always expecting lots of glory in return. This type of balanced relationship will enhance the true Leo nobility, dignity, and self-pride; and Leo Rising will have found its ideal soulmate: someone who can bring out its generous heart. But if Leo Rising’s inherent need for affection, fun, and love is met with Aquarian indifference, unengaged aloofness, and a kind of over-rational high-mindedness, Leo’s light will begin to dim. It’s then that the partner will no longer represent someone offering a new perspective on life, but will instead be perceived as an open enemy who’s out to put a damper on Leo Rising’s exuberance and joy. In romantic relations, I'm attracted to mates with open minds and broad perspectives. But not Aqua Sun: too dispassionate. Both current candidates have Saturn in Aqua in their 7th House. IP: Logged |

My 7th is libra. I never meet libra sun men (where do they go??) But every important relationship I've had was with someone who's had libra in their personal planets. Inside my 7th I have merc and nept, conjunct in scorpio.Current guy is a scorpio sun and mars with venus in libra. IP: Logged |
