I am still a newbie to astrology but I'm trying to figure it all out. I recently discovered synastry charts (still haven't figured out composite charts). I guess what I'm confused about is, I always thought since I am a Pisces Sun, Pisces Moon that I would be compatible with someone with a similar signs. I recently dated a Taurus Sun and Scorpio Moon. However after researching the synastry chart, there were basically no compatible factors at all. Therefore, is it safe to say that I can't just base what my compatiblity would be with someone even if they have a similar planet sign to me? I'm interested in a new guy who is Cancer Sun and Cancer moon but I don't know his birth time. I would think it would be compatible but now I don't know because I can't do a synastry chart without his birth time. This is a bit confusing to me, so I'd appreciate any help! IP: Logged |

You could post your natal chart...maybe there's something else that could explain why you like certain types of men? Did you check just your planets or did you tried to explore your asteroid positions? (Like Juno, Lilith, etc) ------------------ Do thy will ___________ Sun in Gemini Moon/Pluto Scorpio IP: Logged |

Actually, you can do a synastry chart without a birth time. You won't know his Ascendant and houses, and aspects to his Moon may be off a few degrees, but it will still give you some basic information. I've seen some people say it will be about 70% accurate. (Set his birth time to 12:00 noon when you run it).Yes, compatability and synastry is about far more than which signs the planets are in; it can get rather complicated. IP: Logged |

You have Pluto in Scorpio. So that would explain why you can dig a Scorpio Moon. And since the moon symbolizes emotions and you have a strong Pluto I can see why that person appeared in your path. What also caught my eye was the fact that you have a predominance of Water in the chart, so it's not surprising that people with Scorpio or Cancer planets interest you. Also your Sun in the 8th...it's in Pisces but the 8th house has Scorpio undertones.Off course this is a simplistic interpretation and I'm not an experienced person in astrology. And honestly with a DC in aquarius...I would expect that your ideal partner would be someone with planets in that sign. Or someone with a strong Uranus...or a very Jupiterian type since that planet is only 3 degrees away from the DC. ------------------ Do thy will ___________ Sun in Gemini Moon/Pluto Scorpio IP: Logged |

Wow, very true. I was in love with an Aquarius with a Scorpio Moon. And then my most recent ex was a Sagittarius. I always wondered why I was attracted to that type of personality despite being a Pisces with a heavy water chart. I always figured it was my Leo Rising. IP: Logged |
