What transits would point to a LTR going through rough patches or would cause a feeling of distance / loss of connection?

The outer planets (especially Saturn) making a hard aspect to either person's Venus or DESC ruler.

I think it would be wise to check outer planet transits to the compsosite and progressed composite too.

Intersting, right now I have transiting saturn conjunct my venus, opposed my desc and square my moon. I'm having a hard time feeling the connection in my relationship and I'm dealing with a lot of insecurity.

I love astrology because it can pinpoint the root of certain issues. I really love the man I'm with (7 years) so I hope this passes / weakens as saturn moves further away.
