Is there someone who can give me insight on to why I seem to be drawn to Libras? Or why Libras seem to be drawn to me?

My ex was a Libra Rising, I've briefly dated a few other Libra risings, a Libra man was head over heels for me a few years ago, and the guy I am crushing on right now is a Libra. But I don't see anything in my chart indiciating an attraction to Libras? Or maybe Libras are attracted to me? I have no idea. Help, please :-)

This one is hard, I'm not sure either.

It could be your 7th house ruler, Uranus, making only one major aspect, which is a trine to Venus. Your 1st house ruler (how you come across) makes a semi-square. Have you attracted Taurus as well in the past?

Since you specifically said Libra ASC, I checked for Aries placements (which would likely fall into their 7th house) and voila: your Venus and Mars. I wouldn't be surprised if their DSC was around these degrees.

Another thing could be the ruler of your 11th house is Mercury I think (it looks like it's Gemini) and the 11th house is about love received. Maybe, since Gemini is normally liked to the 3rd house, part of the number of people you receive love from would overlay your 3rd house. I know Lotis White has some great analysis on this on this board, and maybe it can be applied to the 11th house as well.

Now whether you're attracted to them too is a different thing, but it looks like you have, at least in the past.

Wow, awesome what a great analysis! Yes I have attracted and been attracted to Taurus men in the past. I love Taurus men actually, I have dated a few of them.

I currently have two libra men who are just buzzing around me. I'm going on a date with one tonight. I just love how mellow they are and easy going. I'm very easy going as well so I love their vibe.

I do have that Venus/Mars conjunct in Aries, so that is interesting that it might be attracting the Libra ascendants.

Thank you!

The mars sign and aspects to it usually shows what sort of men we find ourselves to be drawn to and also what sort of men we draw to us and in your case venus (libras ruling planet) is conjunct your mars so no wonder you find yourself to be drawn to libras/libra qualities in a guy.

You're welcome! I love these types of threads, it's so much easier looking for something specific for others in their chart.

Yeah, an aspect to Venus can lead to either of the Venus-signs, no surprise you like Taureans as well. The ones early in the sign also sextile your Pisces planets, plus an opposition to your Pluto.

And have fun on your date! Those Libras will charm you for sure.

And I totally second Dreaminess. True, I overlooked that. A conjunction to Mars will definitely point you into a certain direction. For you the more charming, friendly, sensual types.
I should know with my Mercury conjunct my Mars. I've honestly lost count of how many men with something in Gemini I've been attracted to, even better if they have something in both Gemini and Virgo.

Where is your Vertex? That could be it.
But you have Venus in Aries ....so Libra rising person would have your Venus in 7th H.

I wonder if you love yourself some Sag/Scorpio energy too?

That Jupiter is on the cusp of the 7th house and opposes the 1st. Pluto squares the DC/AC axis too.

The attraction to Libra however is tricky.I could only discern from Venus in square aspect to your Asc/Dsc point by a wide orb of 9 Deg.

But the closer Mars square aspect to the Ac/Dc points by 7 degrees, suggests someone who likes a "go getter". And not so much the passive stance of Libra.

But OMG, that Jupiter/Pluto I swear.

The Jupiter is so deliciously placed on the 7th and wins this contest. Whilst the Pluto squares the Ac/Dc.

Are you sure that you not into some Sag/Scorp? Red lights everywhere.....

It could also be possible that Libra/Taurus people are responding to your Pluto vibes. Whilst Sag/Gem people are drawn to that Jupiter.

Hahha so funny you mention Sag and Scorpio. My ex of four years (we broke up about 6 months ago) was a Sagittarius with Libra rising. The guy I went on a date last night is a Libra, Scorpio Venus, and I think a Sag rising.

I love Scorpio energy. Like, there are no words to describe how attracted to them I am *swoon*. I just want to explore their intensity and figure out every little thing about them while they bring all their heaviness on to me, haha!! :-)

I have a friend who lives in another state, we talk almost every day, I love him dearly as a friend and I wouldn't mind dating him if he lived closer. He is a Scorpio Sun, Sagittarius rising, Libra moon, and Scorpio Venus. We have sooo much chemistry it's off the charts.

I think I am intimidated by most Sagittarius men because I feel that they are too outgoing for me. I'm not that outgoing and I feel I get overlooked by them.

Hi,

There are a couple of factor's here indicating attraction to Libra, some have been mentioned already.

Firstly, your Mars is conjunct Venus. Venus/Mars conjunctions are interesting because they indicate different things depending on which gender we a looking at. A Venus/Mars conjunction indicates a liking for 'Venusian' Men because Venus is influencing Mars (representing Men). From the opposite point of View, it also indicates 'Martian' women and girls, because Mars is conjunct Venus (representing women). So this configuration shows a liking for Venus-like guys for you.

I'm not surprised you like Scorpio guys because Saturn which co-rules your 7th house falls into Scorpio... Interestingly, the duad of your Saturn is Libra, which adds a Libran Shade to the Scorpio energy that you like. You say Sag feels too outgoing for you but it's part of your attraction pattern and so you do have good chemistry with Sag placements despite this. A Sag planet in close trine to your Venus/Mars conjunction would be excellent for you.

Another reason why you might like Libra is because you 5th house ruler is conjunct your Dsc by a few degrees. Even though Jupiter is in the 6th house it's close enough to the Dsc that it still catches some Libra-ish energy, and could be part of why you like them.

Also, where is the asteroid Juno in your chart. Is it in the Libra or the 7th house? If so this may enhance a liking for Libra people.

Wow! I learned so much by reading this, this is awesome thank you!

I just looked up my Juno and it is in Libra. Wow! Does Juno show who we are attracted to? I don't really know too much about it.

Its interesting that you say you feel "overlooked" by Sag men.

As Jupiter(Sag's ruler) is on your 7th house(7th house is also the shadow self that we don't acknowledge about ourselves).

Not all Sag men are outgoing. But the "expansion" energy can be expressed in that way.

I have met many Sag people who are "expansive" in mind -more than physical ground.

I have Sun in Sag, Jupiter(Sag) conjunct Sun. I am one of those that are not that outgoing.

It is the part of self that we project to others.

Any planet that opposes the Asc affects our image. But when in 7th,in some cases people fail to see it in themselves.

Jupiter in Capricorn may modify the common idea that you like Sag men.

But Capricorn in 7th often suggests that you look for security, maturity and responsibility in a mate.

And Jupiter there suggests that you also desire to grow with the mate.Realistically of-course(Cap).

A mate that promises more than they cam deliver- like typical Sag's do, simply will not impress.

But you are not likely to be overly fond of the taciturn, overly serious Capricorns either.

There must be a balance between optimism (Jupiter)and practicality(Cap):This is what Jupiter in Cap is all about.

Go and Read Jupiter in Capricorn and see if you identify with it? It could be the qualities that you don't recognize in yourself(oppose the Asc)and therefore look for in a partner.

Yes!

Juno shows what qualites we look for in a long-term partner in a similar manner to the 7th house. An excellent famous example of this is Prince William and Kate. She is a Capricorn Sun and the Sun Capricorn does not show in any of his 5th, 7th, or 8th houses. Her Cancer Moon is in his 7th house which is nice, but her Sun sign is not showing in his attraction pattern... Except he also has Juno in Capricorn.

William's 7th house attract's him to Kate's Moon. His Juno attract's him to her Capricorn Sun.

I often find that if our attraction to a certain Sign cannot be explained by the 5th, 7th, or 8th houses, and the Vertex Axis, then Juno is the culprit. I wouldn't underestimate Juno.

This post confuses me. She has Jupiter in Aquarius not Capricorn. Jupiter in Aquarius conjunct the Dsc from the 6th house actually.

This is so very very true for me. My ex who I just broke up with was a Sagittarius, Libra Rising, and Venus Capricorn. Actually he had a few planets in Capricorn (Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and Neptune). But one of the main reasons I ended it was because he had zero ambition. He is 30 years old, doesn't have a real career (currently unemployed for the last four months), now lives with his parents, doesn't take care of himself (drank a lot and was very overweight), and lacks drive in life. I on the other hand am driven, athletic, and am always setting new goals to achieve. I had a psychic tell me once that things would come to a head in our relationship because he would never evolve and I would keep growing. In the end, she was right.

I think an important quality I look for in a guy is being able to grow together and constantly challenging each other to be better people. I did not receive that from my ex. He always made promises of big goals and changes in his life, however they never happened.

I am sorry if this comes across that I am bashing him, as this is is not my intention. He's a wonderful person and I still think of him as a friend, I am just explaining how accurate Aries23Degrees is! And how much it astonishes me that this resonates so personally to me. Thanks Aries!

Oh shoot!!Thanks for that I was looking at Cap the whole time

@polkadotstarsBut be sure that even with this said,Jupiter in Aquarius 7th still seeks growth in partnerships.

But here the growth is different from that of Cap.It is more intellectually inclined and errs on the side of friendship.

Aquarius wants to make the world a better place. And with Jupiter here,it can mean that these ideals are noble and expansive in nature.

So the partner is the type who is non-committal,doesn't like to "cage" themselves in and thinks of thinks in a general way.

Aquarius energy actually goes very well with Jupiter as the emphasis here is "personal freedom": These guys refuse to be tied down to anything.Even a stable job!
