Here are a few regimented steps, which I've posted about a few places.

1. Evaluate skipped step potential. If positive, investigate the skipped steps. Meditate on their meaning. Seek guidance from your higher self. Study any related mythology.

2. Review the Draconic and sidereal. There should be strong hits from both to the tropical and each other, in the case of deep soul connexions. Outstanding karma (as indicated by the skipped step) will be prevalent in the sidereal to tropical conjunctions, and likely mirrored. Look for a continuing theme across the charts. It'll unfold.

3. Start adding asteroids that relate to the unfolding theme, looking for direct conjunctions to the skipped steps. Evaluate.

4. Run the PSE (prenatal solar) and PLE (prenatal lunar) eclipses. Look for further confirmation of the theme, which should be taking clear shape now.

5. Study the sidereal charts in depth, as they will give a good 'portrait' of the lifeline which amassed much karma. There should be strong synastry here. Very strong. Evaluate accordingly.

6. EXPERIMENTAL: consider running the D60t, or the 60th Harmonic chart, with the tropical calculation. This is proving a viable resource of our most outstanding karma which is seeking resolution in the present lifeline.

And remember ...

The 12H of the tropical is our first indication of what we're dealing with here, with KARMA (3811) and the SNODE being our major-most clues. There will likely be strong resonance between the deepest Soulmates and karmic partners at this level.

Once a skipped step has been identified, it's important to work to clear the karma between both. The Draconic charts show the direction of future development, so it's good to take them into consideration when reviewing karmic potential.

Also, note, it's no exact science. It's a deep synthesis. What's remarkable is how much mirroring, echoing, and resonance will appear across multiple systems when dealing with charts of those which great outstanding karma to be resolved. If it's not there at the most basic levels, then it's unlikely to be an issue. Could be a soul connexion, but no outstanding karma. That's a good thing. If you're not finding anything as early as the tropical synastry, don't worry about delving beyond it. You're likely to be wasting time.

And let the astrology support what is already unfolding over other areas -- dreams, 'past life recalls', gut feelings, inexplicable fear or love, or unexplained dynamics between people -- especially sensations and phobias.

I learnt the most by getting to the root of a multidimensional cycle of violence with my twin, (many lifelines, a few of which are known to me) which we were unintentionally perpetuating for many reasons. Sometimes, knowledge truly is power, and love heals all wounds. It really does.

That being said, as an astrologer, it's been the most fascinating and rewarding.

Hope this helps.

Great question!

With creating a sidereal, is the only difference on astro that we select 'hindu/lahiri geocentric (sidereal)' for zodiac? everything else is the same as for a natal?
also how tight do you keep the orbs?

I'd say start with Fagan-Bradley. You can certainly use Lahiri; the degrees are only slightly different. It's personal preference, honestly.

I keep orbs very tight and only use conjunctions, seeking patterns. Heavy configurations. Stick with asteroid orbs (3°) starting out. Some even prefer 2° at maximum.

When you see a pattern begin to take shape, consider expanding orbs as needed, possibly to 3°30, but keep it to 4°.
