It's important to look at the degrees and not just the signs for compatibility as well.

If your Venus is at 3 degrees Aries, and she has Venus at 20 degrees Gemini, the orb of distances is so far apart that the compatibility is weak.

However, if you have Venus at 3 degrees Aries an she has, and she has Venus at 3 degrees Gemini then the connection is very strong.

That was just an example. There are 30 degrees in a sign. The closer the degrees are to each other the stronger the connection. Aspects within about 4 degrees are fairly strong. Aspects under 2 degrees are very powerful.

Both Venus/Venus and Venus/Mars are good aspects to have in synastry.

Venus/Venus is very sweet and affectionate. It's a warm fuzzy aspect where people like each other very much. It's also touchy feely.

However, for male/female relationships Venus/Mars is considered better in general. This is because Mars is a male planet and Venus is a female planet, so the contrast in energies is there, indicating a strong romantic attraction. Venus/Mars is associated with more passionate attraction.

Both aspects, when the degree orbs are tight are very good for relationships though.

So generally the male to female planets is more imp ? I mean like in sun and moon; sun moon is more imp than sun to sun ?

In romantic relationships yin/yang planetary combos like Sun/Moon, Venus/Mars, Venus/Sun, and Mars/Moon are very important because the indicate attraction between the sexes. In friendships they are not so important but if they do occur the one with the masculine planet tends to initiate more often.

Same in a romantic relationship. The one with the masculine planet is more driven to make a move. Even if that person is the female. But this is not necessarily so if there are yin/yang aspects going both ways... Like his Mars trine her Venus, and her Sun trine his Moon. If both have one masculine planet aspected and one feminine planet aspected then, still usually the guy will take the lead just cause they're often more inclined to do so.

Natal charts need to be examined for this though, as some individuals with a strong Mars or Sun in their natal chart are just more likely to make a move in general.
