Well, well, well, this is your favorite aspect too is it not? just kidding of course, I am sure 90% of you hate it - just making an assumption though. Oh sure saturn brings with it a lot of responsibility - too much to handle, etc etc......but without it a relationship cannot survive can it? So ladies and gentlemen, tell me your thoughts on this aspect, in synastry - of course. Can it work? Is it fateful (and by this I mean does it make a relationship fated)? Does it bring with it the issue of karmic debt to one another (wait what, does it really)?
Now, speaking from personal experience - I have this with my loved one. We are not in a relationship with each other yet. However, what could be the implications of it (2 degree orb fyi)? He is the venus, I am the saturn. Is the saturn person really able to bring pain to the venus? How is the saturn person able to hurt him/her?

Thank you all

Let's discuss

I have this with someone. 4 degree orb. I think the Saturn person is more invested in the relationship.

The following article is worth pondering over:

did read this one before, it was interesting.
I would agree of course with what you say being that saturn is indicative of stability. how are you experiencing it? please do share if you feel comfortable

also if the venus is older and the saturn is much significantly younger - what implications does this make?
(this I have in synastry where the venus and saturn are conjunct in capricorn and capricorn tends to like stability)

Our conjunction is in Scorpio. Dude can be pretty wild, which I love, but I need to put some limits on his wildness. Even he said once that he needs me to tame his sexuality...

Oh that is interesting! Never experienced it in Scorpio. Jus the Capricorn, I can imagine how different it is.

I have this someone I like (also 2 degree orb). I'm the Saturn.
I can't answer your questions.. the only thing I can say is that I really like him and would like to have a relationship with him.. Even though he really loves me and is attracted to me, he says he can't be in a relationship with anyone (and he has never been even though he's in his mid twenties).

He doesn't let go but he can't be with me either. Maybe that's the venus-saturn aspect?

HEY! But on the other hand maybe he will never let go and your relationship will develop eventually, usually venus-saturn take a long time to get off the ground from what I've read.

There was a previous thread on the same subject, so you may do a search and see if it answers some of your questions.

Yup thank you, found one - read something like this "At last, the boy venus is tamed by his fair lady the girl saturn. And now, they will never part."

Cool LOL

Try here too.

This site gives you some idea of the aspects associated with the Synastry aspects, but it is an incomplete set of aspects.

I remember a thread a while ago talking about saturn aspects in synastry and how the non saturn person viewed it.

since it seems that most of you are the saturn person in the conjunction, I am curious to know how you view the venus person?
If one of you is willing to share.

My experience with this has been that the saturn person always takes the non saturn person for granted, and is cold and doesn't really return the affection...

HI! I am willing to share. I am saturn. I want to cuddle and kiss the venus person. And I want to be cuddled and adored in returned. I do not think I am cold. Definitely do not take him for granted. I love and adore every single piece of him.

do you have any venus -moon, venus- acs or moon-asc aspects? Are the nodes aspected in synastry?

sorry for asking so much, it's just that it can be tricky isolating the manifestation of a single aspect.

I dfinitely that when saturn is involved in synastry, there is some karma involved, now whether to say it's fateful, or to know what kind of karmic debt is at hand you would have to look at the whole synastry.
Now about pain, this is a really good question, I think the pain involved with a venus/saturn aspect is not he kind of pain where one hurts the other, but more the kind of pain where the love they have for one another causes some distress.

your venus conjunct his moon is to me the reason why you want to kiss and cuddle with him !

But as the moon does he feel the same in return? What does the moon want?

It is totally fine, I am glad you came around to discuss it.

About the pain, if we have a little scuffle or mini argument - we both are in pain. We become withdrawn into ourselves and this hurts us a lot. If there is some type of disagreement or hurt of feelings - I can see him melting. I melt inside also. In a painful way.

I would say it's the same for me and for the charts that I have done, HOWEVER, it is the Venus person who acts cold because Saturn is not exactly a planet one wants to cuddle up to. Venus' reticence brings up Saturn's insecurities, and in return, Saturn acts standoffish.

Venus has to grow up to appreciate Saturn. If she refuses to grow up, the relationship is doomed. It she does grow up, the rewards would be immense for both. Saturn is powerful ally to have and it rewards very well. Of course, it also depends on how the Saturn person integrates her own Saturnian energies as well. An umbalanced Saturn will also doom a relationship.
