Hi there,

I'd like to check my ex his Planets in my houses, since I never had his birth time I can check the other way around (nevermind though).
Im not good with the orbs/degrees thing so I'd like someone to correct me if Im wrong.
I made a list of his planets in my houses ( and Im sure I made mistakes).
Cause you know it's a big difference whether someone's Sun is in your 12 or first house, just saying.

Here we go, this is the link.
Click on it to see our charts:

I am me, and ex is ex.
(Obviously).

I know this might seem redicilously easily for most, but to me it isnt.

Thanks in advance alott !

This is what I came up with !
(please correct if wrong)

His Sun in my 12th House
his Moon in my 9th
His Mercury in my 11th
His venus in my 11th
His Mars in my 8th
His Jupiter in my 10th
His Saturn in my 5th ( HATE this one)
His uranus in my 5th
His Neptunes in my 6th
His Pluto in my 4th

Welcome to IA @ LL, Meer.

I'll start off with one of my personal 'favourites', in terms of interpretation -- because it's oft overlooked and has great significance. Scares some, too.

When someone overlays our 12H with their SUN, they illuminate the darkest, most hidden parts of ourselves. It can feel a bit like they're shining a light into our drawers; rifling through a cupboard where we've distinctly played a 'Keep Out' sign. It often feels invasive -- even unwarranted. Trouble is, it's needed. We bring these folks into our lives to resolve deep-seated issues, and reconcile conflicts within ourselves we've been avoiding for a long time.

These relationships, you can imagine, are only as successful as our willingness to delve into ourselves. In that capacity, however, they can be enriching, deeply fulfilling, and even lasting. When they aren't -- well, it takes two to tango. But there's always someone who refused to take the harder journey. Sometimes both.

Hello there,

Thank you for explaining to me the impact of a Sun in your partners 12th.
To be honest, he is my ex lover, and in the beginning it was nice to have someome delving so seep, but it annoyed me after some time.
I recently met someone and suddenly he;s back to delve some more !

Did you check my list?
Like with all the orbs and degrees, did I do it right?

By the way, the way you described the Sun in a partners 12th, made me think that you had some experience with this?

Anyone please?
I'm just asking for a simple check?
It should be simple for most advanced, even amateur studiers of synastry?

His Sun is in your 11th house
His Venus is in your 10th house
His Neptune is in your 5th house
His Pluto is in your 3rd house

Other than that, they're all right! You have to look at the actual degrees on both the houses and planets. For example, your 12th house starts at the 28th degree of Cancer and his Sun is at the 14th degree, so it would fall in your 11th instead of the 12th. Same goes for the other examples I corrected.

Thank you !

But I dont have his time of birth.
I thought that when you had your own birth time, you could check someone elses effect on you.

Cause you said something about checking his degrees/orbs too?

How accurate is the info without his birth time?
For the record: Im only interested in how he effects me.

He promised me to ask his mother about his time of birth, till then this is all I have.

Can I trust this list as a fact?

Hi Meer,

Well, a few of the house overlays you listed are wrong. I'm not going to just give you the correct list, because I don't think that would be of any use to you ; I think, from what I saw, that you understood it the wrong way. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure you listed his planets in your houses only using the signs for each house. If that's the case, you've pretty much understood the concept of house overlays, but missed out on one detail : degrees. Okay, let me sum this up for you.

Each of the twelve signs in the zodiac has 30 degrees inside them. That makes a total of 12 x 30 = 360 degrees, making up a complete circle (what are commonly referred to as 'charts'). The picture in your OP is not a chart, be it natal (individual chart for one person) or synastry (comparison chart between two people). It's just a list of placements, thus making it much less easier to read than a simple synastry chart. (This, by the way, is probably why you haven't got many replies yet.) I'd rather help you understand house overlays 'the hard way' first, instead of giving you the ready-made synastry chart without your having understood the basics.

So, each sign has 30 degrees. Each degree has 60 minutes inside, and each minute has 60 seconds inside. Seconds are usually not listed (except for software programmes like in your picture), so, 20° LEO 47', for instance, will mean « 20 degrees and 47 minutes of the sign of LEO ».

In your picture, you can see his planets' placements with degrees, as well as your house cusps'.

Let's start with yours -- your ASC (Ascendant or Rising) is the cusp of your 1st house. In other words, it's the point that marks the beginning of your 1H. You can see that your ASC is at 26° LEO 12' 59" (read that as « 26 degrees, 12 minutes and 59 seconds in LEO »). As I said previously, we usually do not use seconds (unless you're a triple Virgo who loves to be precise !), so we'll keep that to 26° LEO 12'.

Your 1H starts at 26° LEO 12'. Okay, but where does it end ? Simple -- it ends where your next house starts. Your 2H starts at 15° VIRGO 23', meaning that your 1H goes all the way from 26° LEO 12' to 15° VIRGO 23'. In other words, everything that falls within that interval belongs to your first house. Same goes for all the other houses in your chart !

Now, let's see where his SUN falls in your chart. His SUN is at 14° CAN 38', whereas your 11H starts at 23° GEM 19' and your 12H starts at 28° CAN 28'. His SUN falls in your 11H, and not in your 12H, because 14° CAN 38' (his SUN) is within the interval of [23° GEM 19' -- 28° CAN 28']. (<--- These are your 11H's starting and ending points .)

I'll let you correct the rest before I get an easy circular chart for you.

Hello peluches,

I have read your post several times and decided to practice by doing other synastry comparisons.
I really liked and appreciated how you took the time to explain this degrees/orbs thing to me !

Have a nice day and thanks again!!
