Can you tell me which house? Sun on saturn/pluto will be showing light to the dark structure and transformation. Sun will illuminate his darkest point. Sun on Sun/Saturn will bring out the Sunny side of his personality.

I feel it will be a very transformative deep healing relationship which will not be easy. Saturn retaliates against sun pluto in midst can be very deep. When you say illuminate do you mean I would awaken his feelings towards sex, death, etc.? Is this something I should be worried about that could effect me negatively?

Also, I feel like there is a strong connection on both ends but I definitely feel like I'm way more into him than he is into me. Could this midpoint eventually change that?

You cannot say that with one aspect. I will give you an insight check his natal chart with the composite. If his angles, sun, moon, venus make tight aspects then he is into it. But the composite chart's angles and planets especially Jupiter aspects to his 1-2 planets then this relationship will benefit him but he may not be involved to that extent.

that is ok, but intraaspects between moon-jupiter, moon-venus and venus-jupiter are good to give you the "love" feeling. Also, check for destiny asteroids like Karma conjunctions to NN or Saturn etc. It will help you know if it is meant to be.
