We're opposites so can somebody please tell me how this is supposed to work? There is instant electric attraction regardless of gender but they just CONFOUND me. They are so veiled and they lie so much. Yes, they lie. I'm not making judgments but they do. Leos, I think, are just inherently honest, it's reflexive and instinctual with us, and everyone one of these people I've met seem to just lie for the hell of it and then they want to gaslight you as if you're just dreaming it up. They lie when the truth would serve them better and it'll be a cold day in hell before they admit what they did that they decided to lie about in the first place, no matter how petty it was. I've never been so attracted to anyone but I can't figure them out to save my life. They want to keep you off balance. Just when you start to figure them out, they change the questions. They pretend they're not listening to you and then you find out later they took the advice or whatever to heart but they wouldn't admit it if hell froze over. They act ashamed to. I wonder who really has the bigger ego here. Ooohhh,and the jealousy. How could I forget the green eyed monster? Anyway, just had to rant.

I agree with everything you wrote! Can't live with them can't live without.
Mt 2 serious relationships were with them and I'm a Leo as well.Aubryanne, you don't have to be so rude. Sun signs are VERY valid. In my opinion, its one of the strongest things in our chart.. why should we just disregard it? IP: Logged |

It's hardly rude to identify when a member makes generalisations based on sun sign alone to the tune of 'Aquarians are liars, and Leos are honest.'Everyone lies. Regardless of where their Sun is placed. It's fact. And to state otherwise, or pigeonhole one sign into a constellation of certain properties is a generalisation. It's as simple as that. I have never been able to keep a friendship going with a Leo or Taurus female. The Leos baffled me with their behaviour. I mean, one Leo girl who I was friends with (on and off) for like 15 years, I got her a job at my workplace and she brought stinky weed with her TO THE TRAINING CLASS. Then I had to hear from my coworkers that she was smoking it right next to the office building where people would have cigarettes, all while she was still under probation. Then she would complain endlessly to me about the job saying she could make more money working as a waitress or bartender. I asked her why she didn't do that then and she said because she's a recovering alcoholic and can't be around booze, like that's my fault. I just had no respect for her self-destructive behaviour and total attitude problem. The other Leo girl I tried to be friends with had a bit of an attitude problem as well, though she was a loyal friend we just couldn't seem to get along, we would get into heated arguments. I personally don't think oppositions or squares are good for friendships :s I think trines and sextiles and same-sign is best for friendship (in other words, the traditional sun sign compatibility interpretations actually work when you're talking about friendship).
Romantically, I can't say. I have met Leos I thought were handsome but they both seemed too dimwitted to me to actually date.IP: Logged |

Not all of us are liars. I have told a white lie before lol but I think everyone has... Some of us can be a little unpredictable and stubborn though. And I have never had a problem with Leo's, I usually like them. IP: Logged |

@ aquacheeks So you met a couple of leos that you did;t gel with. Fro that, you draw conclusions about everyone born under tha sign? and you call leos dimwitted? lol. Someties being clever is not letting other people see just how clever you really are. Maybe these guys just played dumb cos they just were not into you, so could'nt be assed to get into proper conversation with you. But it's been every one of them I've known, personally or from a distance. I'm not hatin on them. And EVERYbody does lie but about different things to different people at different times for different reasons. I don't know Leo's who lie in personal relationships the way Aqua does. I'm sure there are those who do, depending on other placements. There are exceptions to everything but I can't find any other commonality among these people I've known except the aqua sun. Gemini lies a lot but they're different kinds of lies and they're so bad at it, nobody believes them anyway.
To say there are no generalities about Suns if ridiculous though, to begin with. I guess there are no generalities about Saturn, Mars, Uranus either?

It's funny you say that as I've found Leo's to be pathological liars over the most ridiculous things; to the point where I will specifically say to their face 'please don't feel the need to lie, I know you're lying.' It continues to happen. I'm also known to be honest to a fault. I can't not tell someone the truth and have a difficult time sugar coating it. - Aquarius IP: Logged |

stillatlarge,I'm sorry, but we cannot make generalisations based on Sun signs, nor can we with Saturn, Mars or Uranus. The chart is but a road map of potential, and what path you decide to follow is only up to you. Aquarians, Leos or even identical twins will be only what they choose to be. Haha, my mother is like that, she won't admit she lies. She can't be held accountable for anything negative. I know a couple of Aquarius like that also. I'm looking into patterns to see why thats the case, and so far I've noticed Mars-pluto hard aspect in every chart among a few other things. I need to broaden my info. If we're venting, I know 5 aqua's born on the same day. All of them are emotionally dishonest and have NN in Scorpio (unsurprising) square their Sun. I just cut them off, part of being Leo mars is if I don't receive anything in return, I move on.

I noticed all air sign men seem to suffer from some form of adhd Nd lie slot and play mins games. Here a list of the sun signs who are flighty. I dated an Aquarius who neglects to tell me had a gf back in 09. But the dude was more cap then Aqua because he had everything except sun moon and mercury in cap. His sun and mercy was Aquarius, his rising sag and moon in Scorpio. I thought he would be less of a flighty person with A caps telling making him more earth but NOooo he was the best liar I ever met!IP: Logged |

I don't like generalization when having really serious discussions but the op is clearly frustrated and venting.
No big deal. Personally, I love most aqua. (Depends heavily on the moon sign, and of course other things)
One though. I never knew she was still seeing her ex until she called and said that she was pregnant. She didn't know if it was mine or his and that's how I found out. Nice.
She miscarried though so nothing ever became of it.

Astrology has ruined me.I've had more than a handful of ugly run'ins with this sign. I struggled with this energy quite a bit with much emotional torment. One day it hit me - stop caring. It's possible I'm unoriginal, repetitive, boring, derivative, or something else. Who knows? When things are new and I'm still a novelty, yeah, I'll let my guard down. Once they detach there's usually no way back in. If they need a favor or some other thing I always question myself for the personal benefit. If I can't find any, I tell them no. I have an impressionable full moon with a conj to Neptune, everything makes an emotional impact. Aquarius is the anti-ego that believes its job is to bring all egos down a peg. I expect it has something to do with your own charts rather than an entire sun sign. I happen to have Aquarius for my 7H and perhaps that's why I usually get along well with Aquarius, who I find to be nothing like the negative stereotypes here (and while generalizations about sun signs can be made--with plenty of exceptions based on other aspects of the chart as well as different ways potentials can manifest in both evolved and less evolved ways--if you're going on about how awesome your own sign is and how vile another one is then it's a safe bet that such was never intended to happen and most people will rightly dismiss such generalizations--and for that matter it's a red flag when a person talks about how good they are but get treated so badly by everyone else). But maybe if I had Venus-moon squared Aquarius Mars-Uranus-Pluto then I'd be attracted to them while having very bad experiences with them (though some say our squares are to teach us something and that we can work through the difficulties they give us and become better people for it). I've been thinking of posting something here about someone born the same day as me who never got along with me (and most astrologers would be surprised to find we had the same birthday and even shared the same maternity ward) and I recently found out her birth time so I can compare our charts. Apparently even just what houses our placements (including sun sign) are in can make a big difference. IP: Logged |
