Mercury being the planet that is more about the mind than the heart makes it one of the less popluar subjects In synastry. At the same time, it's pretty self explanatory that the Asteroid person will simply love the Mercury's way of communicating.
However, my Mercury happens to be the ruler of my 7H. Would this enchance the aspects in some way?My Mercury

I met someone recently who had my Mercury conjunct her Lust. She really liked how I thought and how I spoke. Not enough planet-planet aspects to go with it though, so it didn't go much of anywhere. Just as well, Chiron aspects both ways.My ex had Venus opp my Merc which I thought was a nice enough aspect. Mercury is underrated in relationships. IP: Logged |

When we have mercury as ruler of 1,4,7,10
I suggest its' Heliocentric placement also be considered.
Some it is said wear their heart on there sleeve. For those that do not we must speak
our feelings for a person or convey through action > Mars. And then the action needs to be understood> Mercury
Gemini Blues , you are correct,Mercury is overlooked often.Trust is key in all types of relationships and we never have that without good communication.
Every female that wants THAT guy to talk to her must give a cue(most of us miss it), a silent communication is also a part of Mercury.

a SENSE of connection without talking can go as far as a first connection on a few subjects.

I was actually thinking of posting a thread similar to this. Hooooonestly from my experience having my lust APHRODITE and Mars and IC and Mercury conjunct someones Mercury OR ANOTHER OTHER PLANET within 2 degree orb made me go crazy for the way they talk in general, the tone of there voice, talking to them conversating was very attractive to me. I've notcied that if anyone I know who made contact to my lust etc. Cause all those asteroids and my Mars and ic are conjunct exact! In my natal. 3 people in my life where I was so in love with there voices made contact to these placements in my natal. It didn't even have to be one of there personal planets it could even be one of there social planets saturn uranus etc. But obviously depending on the house 1,3,4,5,7,8.
