This is a friendship, at the moment. We have nice synastry, but nothing is sparked (at least not on my part, except general intrigue). Thank you for your help!

Usually I would not count a 5 degree sextile between Moon and Chiron. Here in this case however Venus seems to be very close to oposing the Moon/Chiron-mp, so IŽd count it.

so the energy would be weaker? I have only found a little even on the pluto venus conjunction, other than the standard "this is a transformative relationship" etc.

so moon and chiron would be working together to heal our wounds through our emotions, and the energy would come from our shared love and transformation? I'm not sure if I am on the right path.

However if you cannot be that open and accepting fo each other, there is also the possibility that a certain emotional wounding takes place. Because you are that vulnerable with each other, everything just feels deeper, and you probably have no defenses against even just imagined hurt.

Well John Sandbach has some midpoint interpretations. Here it would be Venus activating Moon/Chiron

I take it this is a very chirotic relationship then. In synastry we have venus-chiron DW, one opposition and one trine. He has it natally conjunct his moon, mine widely conjuncts his moon (5degrees) and exact to his DC.

Looking at composite and synastry, Venus is a big player too, I am thinking. It is big in his natal chart as it is conjunct the AC, mine is big in my natal bcs it is conjunct MC and therefore highest point of the chart. We have venus-venus trine, venus trine moon, and venus conjunct saturn in synastry.

This makes sense because it is extremely easy to be friends, we hang out easily for long periods of time and it is a very gentle, flowing type of harmony and energy. Art and music and the sharing of nature and beauty is a big theme in our exchanges. I do sense healing, early as it is in our friendship, because I am learning how to have genuine friendship with a man, something I have lacked previously. Interesting, and thanks for confirming my experiences thus far.
