Do you guys have any good experience with this planet?Give me some hope.

Haha, Saturn can be good or bad depending on your chart! I attract saturanian relationships all the time (even online LOL) and too much saturn in our synastry doesn't ever go anywhere. I prefer soft aspects and conjunctions because my chart has saturn conjunctions. Some people have preference for saturn squares in synastry but astrologers warn not to get involved with squares or oppositions.

My understanding of saturn squares is that the saturn person tries to teach you a lesson that you're not equipped to learn. i.e a Pisces Moon won't know how to mature in the way a gemini saturn wants. The bright sides to saturn is the stability and the gift of having finally learned saturn's lesson. However, what if you never learn? That's why squares in saturn are often called karmic, because you are still learning saturns lesson from another life time!

Not learning saturn's lesson can result in criticism, coldness, detachment, etc from Satun. And you're glued there. Saturn squares make no sense to me personally unless the person is triggering your own natal saturn square, because you'll have to deal with that lesson either way. If you have a great relationship, forget what astrologers have said. I think they're right to warn people about saturn though since it's hard to let go of a heavy saturn relationship if it goes sour.... Don't trust the fatalistic "cook book" stuff, just try and rationalize it on your own. If saturn squares work for you, go for it!

Your welcome! Yeah, you'll find people on this forum who say saturn squares or oppositions work for them! It's about preference and what works for you both.

Yeah thats true, i heard a lot about growth when it comes to squares and oppositions.Very nice stories.
Btw i read a very interesting article about how difficult conjunctions can be too.(most people probably know this article, i just dont remember from where it is)
But i saved this part to never forget

" When there are a lot of conjunctions between charts, life is very stimulating, but it can also be exhausting. Everything about the relationship seems to be pitched at an extreme level, off again, on again; dramatic turns; exaggerated circumstances"

So lets pray for a balanced synastry chart and even in that way we will not have 100% if will work.
Only God knows the plans for us

Saturn square moon and saturn square mars show up in the charts of married people's synastry (some say) 80% of the time. Saturn is what makes you work through it, instead of saying "f€$k this!" Saturn makes you WANT to work through it bc your soul senses a great reward.
I'd rather have Saturn than Uranus ANY DAY.

If I ever meet Saturn in a dark alley on a moonless night... well, let's just say the solar system will have to make do with one less planet.

Seriously, that old ****** needs to get off my back!

I'm an airy-fairy, artsy-fartsy bohemian hippie at heart, and he keeps trying to wake me up at the crack of dawn, stuff me into an uncomfortable suit and tie, and make me work from 9 to 5. Ain't happenin', dude! Ain't happenin'!!

Saturn squares to luminaries, Venus or Mars in synastry or the composite (or other hard aspects, but the most present seems to be the square) are one of the most common features in marital/romantic relationships.

Aww im cappy and saturn has been chasing me all along.

hey i've been trying to understand this aspect myself in synastry as well day by day. and what i do notice is that there is a lot of demands from saturn and teaching from saturn but sometimes its hard to get into fights with saturn because saturn is always going to think they are right even when there wrong but eventually they will figure out that they are wrong when they truly are wrong but do keep in mind saturn is very smart and just wants to teach you like a father parenting way. i mean that's just how i experience this aspect myself. again I'm still learning about this aspect i have, not only saturn conjunct mars and mercury and my IC and lust and aphrodite and atlantis. but my partner is also having her uranus and saturn (asteroid Yurlov) conjunct my IC, atlantis, aprhodite, mars, and mercury etc. i have a stellium all in capricorn.

hope this helped

It's not that bad its just depends on how you look at him. When he comes we see the fruit of our labor, the aftermath of our actions and how they affect us NOW. So really, there was a problem mounting there and Saturn just brings it to light by how it affects us.

Like when I had Saturn conjunct Pluto in the second house. I had already had some pretty self destructive tendacies and boy, I paid some consequences for them. I paid long term consequences and they did involve money. But it taught me that my value system was flawed, severely. I also learned how to get by with next to nothing.

All in all, he is here to stop us from going further because we are doing more damage than we think. Some of us tho may be already putting positive things in motion and those are the ones who get to see saturns praise thru recognition, long saught after goals, a promotion and so forth.

Just my two cents, one more thing. I began exercising two months ago out of nowhere. I just made my mind up. It was a goal I always tried and stopped but this time for some blind reason I've been able to stay consistent. Maybe lut of maturity but Saturn has been trine my natal north node, and yes as of late my path has been clear. Made clear in painful ways but it's clear.

Helped a lot I think the key in our case is analyzing saturn deeply cuz we will know when we are going too far.And we do that often. We are stubborn! We "die" to defend our beliefs and this is good in some sense but we need to learn how to be more flexible and balance things. Then we can taste the best of saturn.
