I've been reading on Saturn in synastry. My Saturn falls in my bfs 6th house. Many think that's a good place to have it. I mean, it has to go somewhere... anyway, I can see how if we ever lived together I would be the one restructuring his diet and personal habits.. for the good, I think! His Saturn falls in my 9th and this might prove to be a bit more problematic. I'm a Sag Sun and Venus and I feel strongly about the things in the 9th house. I don't think I'd be willing to change my views on religion or my philosophies in general. His Gem Moon is placed in the 9th house of his natal chart, so I'm thinking he probably feels emotionally tied to HIS beliefs too. Anyway, my question was... what do you think is the best and worst place for Saturn? Can you tell me about where Saturn was in your relationships, and how it played out? IP: Logged |

It agree, 6th is a good place for it....I can't really think of any other house I'd want it in. I was with a guy with his Saturn in my 8th, and it wasn't to bad. He really liked to plan sexually....didn't seem to restrict as much as make him very into needing things to be a certain way. His Saturn was on his IC, his Sun, Venus and Merc was also in my 8th so maybe that helped.IP: Logged |

Oy, Gabby. I have transit Saturn in my 8th right now. It's restricted pretty much any action whatsoever! I'm glad that your situation with Saturn/8th turned out better.IP: Logged |

Transits are tough the energy seems more forceful and direct...hope it gets better soon! IP: Logged |

How about 12th? In electional astrology, Saturn is placed in cadent house where its power is weak. If it's in 6th, you'd have a hard time with health. I think 10th is also good. It makes you a hard worker or do something slow like archeology or something old.IP: Logged |

Hi Astra, I don't know how Saturn in 12th would play out in synastry. I have my natal Saturn there and that's not such a good place for it, I've read. It tends to make one vulnerable to depression. Mine is conj Chiron, so it's proven true in my case.IP: Logged |

I have it in 10th, it makes it where you at forced to work so much harder than anyone else to accomplish the same as they do and it takes you much longer. Yes it makes you work hard...VERY HARD!! I agree with GypseeWind...12th I think would make you vulnerable to depression. It's like having someone critiquing and critizing you from inside your own head without you even being aware of it. In a relationship it would create oversensitivity that seems to come from nowhere. IP: Logged |

I have it in 7th with someone I've loved for 7-8 years....we both know we love each other dearly but being together is like trying to catch the wind. He's actually just proposed a plan to make it happen....so we are going to try. Pray for me!! LolIP: Logged |

I remember a few synastry threads from something like five years ago, concerning the 6th house. I think there was something along the lines of choosing to commit to the relationship and taking care of each other and yourselves would fall under the 6th house. IP: Logged |

Probably. My boyfriend's SATURN, MOON, BML, EROS, and NYMPHE are all in my 8H. Conversely, my NESSUS, NYMPHE, CERES, and SAPPHO are all in his. Heh. Wonder who's got the better deal there .... IP: Logged |

I know someone with their natal Saturn in 7th, he's 51 and never been married. He's a serial dater. Conversely my youngest daughter has that placement and she's only had one boyfriend whom she says she plans to marry.I guess we could all be glad we don't have Saturn synastry in the 5th, that's gotta put a damper on things! Anyone had that one? What about the 1st house? I wonder if the house person would feel like the planet person didn't want them to speak, or didn't like the way they dress or acted? IP: Logged |

Considering that's everyone in my birth year, I can safely say, not the case in my experience. Many soul siblings in that group, and a few cherished exes. IP: Logged |

Personally I'd take one of these: 1st, 2nd, 10th (but the latter would mean it's someone much older...)------------------ Anomaling around since 1911. IP: Logged |
