Hi everyone! I'm new to astrology and I find it fascinating. Been reading posts here for a while now and learning a lot, although not enough to read a chart. I was hoping some of you could help me interpret my natal chart. I haven't had any "real" relationships in my life thus far, never been in love. I got into astrology when I met someone, but it never turned into anything and he's getting married soon. Needless to say, I've been thinking about it a lot. If someone can tell me what in my chart indicates why I can't find love, I'd really appreciate it! Well,
To answer your question, it will propably being when you stop being self absorbed and focus on your North Node. (7th House - Partnerships)
Having the South Node in 1st House means, that you have already achieved recognition, skill, a healthy body, etc. In other words, everything that embodies oneself. In your case, even fame and prominence, because the ruler of Scorpio (your 1st House) is Mars, and It is conj your Medium Coeli (MC) and Sun. Medium Coeli is the highest point in a celestial object's apparent daily traverse of the visible sky.So,
Poor North Node, it has "Nowhere-to-run", no Trines, no Sextiles, not even conjunction. I'd Seem like you've been designed to achieve the Highest Glories only. If I could give you some super awesome DNA surgery, I'd give you a Libra, Taurus or Pisces ASC in order to accomplish that Goal.

Wow Thank you for replying GemBird! I'm not sure I understand nodes, though. And I don't feel like I've achieved much, not like you say. What do you mean when you say I'm designed to achieve the Highest Glories only? I feel very ordinary and not special in any way. It's a bit depressing to hear that I have a "handicap task"! What can I do about that? I would say that I do have a pretty strong soul..Very emotionally independent and hate to be vulnerable. Not sure if that makes it strong.. Hmmm..Can I get some more insights from all you knowledgeable people? I'd like to understand myself a bit more before I start asking for interpretations on synastry. Thanks everyone for your time. ~ Weee ok, I think I messed up your mind a little. My sincere apologies. 
-------------------------------------------------------------To put it very simple and in a practical way.
Your chart tells me that as long you are highly, highly, super concerned about the Maslow's hierarchy of needs, you may trick yourself by thinking you need this or that BEFORE getting married, or finding a partner, big etc. It's a very common mistakes that both; males and females quite often make. And if it is not your case. Then it means I have failed  So, don't worry at all.
No need of that, as long as you start to know yourself, logically, the chances to "go wrong" start to decrease.

I never used to think or worry about marriage, but seeing as how all my friends have settled down or are in the process of doing so makes me start to wonder why I haven't had much luck in love.
