So I have realized in looking at many of my relationships that certain points in my chart are continuously activated. These are degrees where there is not a planet of mine. I kept seeing Scorpio/Taurus 5 degrees pop up in the charts of my friends and love interests and could not figure out why.Well, it turns out 5Scorpio is my Mars/Neptune midpoint. In reading around, it is a point of spiritual activation. John Sandbach writes:
Planets activating the Mars/Neptune midpoint
Principle: To act out of a sense of spiritual obligation. Taking the initiative to help others. The refinement of one's ability to act. The ability to assert oneself in subtle ways. Psychic warfare. I have had relationships with AC/DC, moon, uranus, asteroids (pallas), juno, chiron, Lillith, etc. Nearly every person who has played a significant role in my life in some way has something on or very near 5 Scorpio/Taurus. bumping this, a long time later. I am still seeing this point activated. It's a very emotional point.My best male friend, who has a great impact on me in an emotional way, has his moon here. My dad has his NN/SN axis here. My ex boyfriend has his sun here, and so many others.
Anyone have any experience? I'd really love to hear your thoughts on this.

in your own natal chart, does mars make an aspect to neptune? particularly a disharmonious one like inconjunct, sesquisquare or semisquare?IP: Logged |

Yes- my neptune squares my mars/venus midpoint.Mars 20 Virgo

Oh sorryMars and Venus in Virgo - 21 and 9 respectively Neptune in Sagittarius, 15 so it widely squares both of them, but it squares their midpoint exact IP: Logged |

lol I should have guessed because neptune in virgo people are our grandmas  so you have a natal mars/neptune square, and the midpoint of this aspect can be like a balance point to help you deal with it. maybe that's why you meet people who have planets at this point? IP: Logged |

Possibly. It just happens so often. Even a random friend I just met, I looked his chart up and his Mercury is there. It's constant. But you'd think I would see a lot of synastry involving the venus/neptune midpoint too, and I don't. I've seen a few lately, but not as much as mars/neptune. Perhaps they are helping me learn how to deal with the challenging aspect. IP: Logged |
