Certain astrological aspects are sometimes discussed as though, in themselves, they can make or break a relationship, or characterize the entire flavour of a synastry (or an individual, if we're talking natal charts). This can feel very true at the time of taking in this information, or it can become true, or the truth of the statements will become revealed to us over time... We know that it's important as astrologers that we remain very mindful, given the great impact our words, thoughts, and impressions can have on the vibration we apply to interactions...Take a synastric Pluto square Mars, for instance; and think of the crazy bad rap it gets... How a relatively positive relationship could be very badly affected by one party reading about Pluto square Mars and then looking for the fights over much. I know that astrology works even when nobody has seen any charts or ever thought about it (at least I think so!). But still--we must be mindful.
Each relationship has varying levels of intensity and profundity, and layers upon layers of intricate reasons for things being the way they are (a Pluto square Mars exists simultaneously with a Mars/MC conjunction, and a Pluto trine Moon, and these people may have many flowing aspects besides, and yes, occasionally this energy will of course make itself known, but it will be vibrating with the intentions of both parties, always, and subject to transits and personal feelings.
So I was thinking about making a thread to discuss the lighter side of these and other aspects (or just play around with keywords and phrases, which have a poetry and a positive vibration to them, for people to refer to when they want to think about astrology in less fatalistic/black and white terms).
So in a flash of intuition Pluto square Mars was best described as:
"puppy dogs."
I know, sounds silly and crazy in a way. But that's why this is a thread for fun.
puppy dogs play fight... And really this life is a great big lila, a dance, a play, an act of trying things on for size. Sometimes the play can look and feel! Very very serious--and it is. deadly serious.... like puppy dogs! sibling ones.
It's my impression that Pluto and Mars are complementary planets, like the Moon and Venus, and squares between such planets are not the same as planets which are more at odds. So...
Pluto square Mars. Puppy dogs.
Whatchu got?
