It's hard to evaluate the emotional component of the synastry without his MOON and angles, but there doesn't appear to be any indications of deep emotional involvement.
His VENUS trine your MOON, IMO, would serve simply to strengthen the other Venus aspects, but I feel there is a superficiality to VENUS that doesn't lend itself to deep bonds, unless coupled with a more serious or motivating planet.
