Hey! Does anybody know literature about dissociate / out of sign conjunctions? Or an article online..? My loved one has a sun/venus conjunction on 3* Cancer. My moon is on 29* Gemini. What would be the difference to a normal conjunction, how does it play out? Do you have experience with these according to the luminaries? (It has to happen quite a lot because of their wider orb) ------------------ "What will survive of us is love" IP: Logged |

I'd like to know too- we have a possible sun/moon sextile. It's wide, maybe too wide to count, and out of sign, but it's the luminaries...his moon 3 Gem, my sun 27 cancer IP: Logged |

I have this with former fiance: my Moon 29Gemini51 conjunct her Venus 2Cancer15. Hearts and Flowers! So easy and lovely together, powerful attraction. We made Home vibration, no matter where we met! In general, the faster moving body is attracted when applying to next sign: she made my Gemini Moon more like Cancer Moon. quote: Originally posted by thegrinning_cat: Hey! They play out exactly as the planets suggest for the signs they are in. They are no less 'strong' than same-sign conjunctions. Moon 29 Gemini could even be parallel Venus 3 Cancer. Look at your declinations. If the two are very close, this parallel becomes the more important aspect of this particular piece of synastry. ------------------

Thank you very much, comdoc and Kannon McAffee! <3 I didn't know the concept of declinations, very interesting and makes totally sense to me…. Kannon you are an expert - what orb is possible for a parallel? I read 1,2 max His Venus: 23*49 Sun: 23*23 My Moon: 25*53 Is that too wide? Or does it still have an effect? Thanks! IP: Logged |

From what I have read, 1 degree max on parallels and contra parallels. And of course, the tighter the better. So your moon and venus definitely qualify. But what that means, I don't exactly grasp so well!
