I recently met a Capricorn man about 3 months ago. He's been persistent in his approach and has been very straight-forward. I wasn't all that interested in him at first, but I must admit, he's growing on me.

When I pulled his chart, He has Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, and ASC all in Capricorn including Uranus and Neptune which inevitably means Uranus and Neptune will conjunct his entire Cap stellium.

In his synastry with females his age, it's very rare that one would stand out then right? If he has these same conjunctions with most if not all of the females his age, how would he find one suitable or interesting enough to stand out?

Is this why Capricorn men prefer older women?

How does our synastry and composite look? I am definitely interested in this guy. Birthtimes are 100% accurate.

I use Placidus, no way to see rulership with equal, but I can tell his type is heavy Cancer/Taurus.

It's the influence of Saturn, which rules Capricorn. He values maturity and experience.

What about his cap stellium conjunct uranus and neptune and having this with the majority of females his age? Is he easily attracted to many women or this makes him extremely picky in choosing a mate?

My Uranus and Neptune is conjunct his Venus Exact. Same goes for his Sun.

They are in the same sign but they are not conjunct by degree.

I can see though, that you are each others secondary Venus and Mars type.

You don't seem to touch his 5th, 7th, or 8th houses but you are his secondary Venus... His Venus is in Capricorn, Capricorn rules the 10th house, his 10th house is Scorpio which is in the same sign as your Scorpio stellium. The house ruled by a man's Venus sign shows extra characteristics he appreciates in females. Actually, because he has so many planets in Cap his 10th house is very important for him.

From your side, he has planets falling into your 8th house. Also, you have Mars in Sagittarius so your secondary Mars is the 9th house... Sagittarius rules the 9th house, and your 9th house is Capricorn. The house ruled by a women's Mars sign shows extra characteristics she appreciates in males. His Sun, Mercury, Neptune and Uranus all fall into your 9th house in Capricorn, while his Moon, Venus and Mars are still in the sign Capricorn.

The two of you activate each others Venus and Mars symbolism in this way.

There's some potential.

i don't like this chart for romance. he has too much in capricorn and you neither conjunct nor oppose anything. it might be ok short-term because capricorn and scorpio are actually very well-suited, but i don't think this is the making for romance. of course you will be really feeling it for this guy because his stellium hits your 8th house and that brings on *those* feelings, and you've got a scorpio stellium, and scorp rules the 8th house. the problem i see - aside from no meaningful connections (excepting to outer planets), is that the house positions show learning/work from his side. everything here is secondary and doesn't come from matches to the main planets. he - and you - would be better matched with people with whom your share some more planetary interactions and house overlays.

Even with such an intense composite?

& we also have moon-venus double whammy.
& some Venus-mars action.

It says they're conjunct by 0 degrees on Astro com.

If this isn't a chart that's good for romance then why do we both want to get involved romantically with one another? It has to be something in our synastry/ composite that shows this. He's been extremely persistent. & we do have loads of chemistry.

Our composite is pretty intense.

Moon in Scorpio conjunct Pluto in Scorpio, 8th house.

Love stellium.

And our synastry isn't too great, but I wouldn't say it's completely a no go for romance.

We have some sweet aspects aside from any major conjunctions or oppositions to personal planets.

This why I hate synastry wheels. They don't show the degrees of planets and we're supposed to just look at the picture and guess orbs. The image makes it look like there is no conjunction, would you mind posting the degrees of your planets.

The very best way to figure this out is to go out with the guy for awhile and see how things work out. Then you come back and tell us how this synastry panned out. You have sons major good aspects and some so-so aspects....so it would be nice to see which ones tip the scale into their favor and make it a go or a no-go.

So far, everything is leaning towards the romance department which is why I'm a bit puzzled by the responses.

When we first got involved, I viewed his Cap stellium and my stellium aspecting his 10th house as a sign of a professional encounter, but as things progressed, the complete opposite took place. Our chemistry is anything but professional or strictly platonic. We do discuss business, money, etc often but it isn't the focus of our involvement.

I wonder what in our synastry/ composite is causing this?

I've heard people say couples with horrible synastry have a strong composite so it balances out. Maybe that's what's going on between us..

I'm guessing that Moon-Venus both ways plays a role..

Along with our heavily-emotional composite.

You said you've only known him 3 months. You need much more than that and living together as a couple to establish how good your synastry is. Take Gabby's advice.

Likely companion soulmates, but, depending upon the nature of the relationship, could also be karmic.

Going back to your original question, instead of thinking that those generational aspects 'stick' out, maybe they are just subtly 'there'. In other words, a fish doesn't know about water until it's out of water.

As far as he knows, he just knows he has various dynamics with females his age 'for some reason' but it also gives him a keener sense of the other aspects that he is looking for in a potential partner.

Not sure if I'm making myself clear?

That makes perfect sense. This explains why he's so picky with women like he says. He's looking for someone specific or close to it. So far, I'm it! Haha, but we shall see. That uranus is making me weary despite all the capricorn/vsaturn between & the strong emphasis in Scorpio in composite.

I took a closer look and we also have:

HIS vertex opposite MY Saturn (4 degrees).
HIS vertex square MY ASC EXACT.
HIS Saturn squares MY ASC EXACT.
MY union opposite HIS Saturn EXACT.
MY chiron conjunct HIS Union (4 degrees).

In Composite:
Vertex opposite ASC (1 degree).
Karma square ASC (3 degrees).

Oh, Saturn..

Does it mean anything if Transit Saturn is currently transiting my Descendant (6th(7th house) and was when we met? (saturn retrograde periods)

Also, our composite stellium is in Sagittarius. Saturn is entering back in Sagittarius soon.

I feel like there's some real karma between us caused by fate and transits.
