as in the subject. Very curious to know and have always wondered what would kick start a relationship regardless of whether the synastry is awesome.

And what would put one on hold "for now".

Progressions, definitely. VENUS to SUN, what the 7R is doing, and chartruler ....

Squares tend to halt or postpone. Then the conjunctions (say, pSUN to VENUS, and vice versa) can kick one into high gear.

Progressions to natal. I haven't found the progressed composite to natal to be as much of a lock. It's more supportive if there are already strong progressions-to-natal aspects.

ok so pardon the ignorance but are you implying that both people need to be open to receiving a relationship which would show via the progressions to their natal? But how do you distinguish that it means those two particular people together?

That's why I thought progressed composite to natal would be something that would describe how the relationship itself can kick off or come to a halt for however long between those two people in particular - as opposed to being open or not to a relationship in general. does that make sense??

i'm a little confused
