I noticed Alma is talked about a lot around here but I haven't really studied it.

I'm just looking at it now but I noticed in synastry His Alma 6 Pisces is opposite our Lilith/Priapus (I'm Lilith he is Priapus) conjunction at 6 Virgo.

What could this mean?

Wow I just realized we have a Lilith Priapus conjunction DW!

My Priapus 13 Aquarius
His Lilith 12 Aquarius

His Priapus 6 Virgo
My Lilith 6 Virgo

Is this BML or LILITH 1181? If the former, it's very significant. I have the same in two synastries, and I've found it very potent.

It's Lilith (i) for the Aquarius one. With 1181 his Lilith is at 12 Taurus so its making a square. I don't know his TOB so I don't know where his BML is.

As for the Virgo one it's all of the Lilith's at that degree in Virgo. I'm the Lilith.

Here's the way to know.

If it's 'Lilith' from the dropdown menu, that's BML.

That`s the right one.
As Priapus is also (i), that is the arithmetic counterpart.

Auby and me differ a little in our terminology.
While she calls the mean Lilith from the drop down menu BML, I call the true oscillating Lilith (h13) BML.

Truth is however they are BOTH BML - Black Moon Lilith. Just one is the averaged one, the mean Lilith, and the other one is the so called "true" one.

The (i) Lilith is also the Black Moon but it is the counterpart to Priapus, with Lilith being the apogee and Priapus the perigee. The arithemtic is a little complicated.

Oh Okay good.

It's actually (i) for both but all of the Lilith's are aspecting the Priapus there is a lot of action there.

yes, I find it interesting how even true (h13) Lilith is very often aspecting Priapus, even though they are of different calculation.

For me personally the difference between all my Black Moons is very little

mean BML: 24 Aquarius
i BML: 27 Aquarius
true BML: 28 Aquarius

however there are instances where the difference can span 30° or so

Me too!

Mine are at 6-8 Virgo.

Priapus and (i)Lilith aren't dependent on birth time. They stay the same for 24 hours...

My asteroid Lilith is at 6 Virgo too.

Priapus at 13 Aquarius.

Actually my OSC Lilith is at 16 Leo... not Virgo.

... No, there's only one.

Part of Fortune
Vertex
Lilith
Chiron

-- it's that Lilith, which is actually the mean calculation of BML.

When conjunct PRIAPUS, it's a very profound connexion.

Lilith and Priapus

h13 Osculating Lunar Apogee ("True" Lilith / Black Moon)
h21 Interpolated Lunar Apogee (Lilith), also called 'Natural Apogee'
h22 Interpolated Lunar Perigee (Priapus), also called 'Natural Perigee'

I'm talking about the hypothetical planets list.

Correct. For me, it's

h21: TBML (True)
dropdown Lilith: BML (Mean)
h13: I rarely use the oscillating; it's 0º30 from my TBML.
LILITH 1811: asteroid Lilith

I am fascinated by the fact that his h13 and my h13 are opposing each other by just 24 minutes of orb, which means they are of course conjunct each other`s (true) Priapus.
There is also a true Priapus/ perigee and it is always opposite true h13 Lilith.

Oh, that's right. There ARE two PRIAPUS calculations, aren't there?

It`s always opposite h13. varies only a few minutes from the exact opposing point.
they represent a true axis, like the nodal one. though I kinda like the thought of the natural Lilith and Priapus being more or less swinging like a pendulum over the polarity point.

Ahhhh. I get you now. Right. That part always got me; why do we have PRIAPUS very near to, but never exactly opposite BML?

So, h13's opposite point, is the true calculation of PRIAPUS?

Yes.

as to the difference for natural Priapus from natural Lilith - there is a german book that explains it, but I do not really remember. I think it had something to do with the challenges in calculating the Moon`s course anyway, and that gets even more complicated with calculating apogee and perigee.

That's really fascinating.

So, my T-PRIAPUS (for lack of better) is 0º Taurus, whereas his, obviously, being directly opposite his T-BML is 19º LIB 25.

Hmmm.

A true PRIAPUS conjunct SUN (0º10) and true PRIAPUS conjunct mean BML (1º30)? I think I'll take that!

So, I MUST affect him in some very deep and profound way if my SUN is 0º10 conjunct his bloody true PRIAPUS! I must! Yes? Right?
