Sure, if you're the VERTEX, then someone whose NNODE hits it dead-on could feel very, very fated -- because it is. But idealism? I don't think so. I can't see 'you're perfect in every way' stemming from that. That sounds more NEPTUNE, or even NEPTUNE/VENUS.

I felt deeply attracted to a karmic soulmate whose ASC is 0°10 conjunct my VERTEX. Everything feels incredibly fated. But I was also ignoring a lot of the reality.

Granted, NODES are not angles -- there's a deeper karma there. But VERTEX would feel fated to meet the NNODE, who has to grow through the VERTEX's spontaneous, even capricious experiences and adventures.
