Here's the synastry:
I am inside, both BT are correct.

The positive factors i see:

* contact between our luminaries - his Sun exactly square my Moon (i actually like these kind of squares), my Sun trine his Moon by 4 and his Moon opposite mine by 1 degree. All this involves both of our Plutos and his Mercury, so could become pretty intense. For now it is fun and joyful, i feel really good in his presence and we joke around a lot.

* His Moon being in a really cool spot for me - it makes a grand trine with my Sun, Venus, Mercury and Mars. Trines with Venus and Mars are exact. That gives for the passion and emotional contact, i think. It helps that his Moon is in my 5th as well.

* I like our mutual Mercury-Jupiter squares, because i think this really gives the joyful quality and the fact that we can't shut up where we're together - can talk for hours and not be tired of that. When we part, we actually keep texting each other.

* His North node exactly on my Vertex - this one speaks for itself, i guess. The feeling of fate bringing us together.

Negative:

* no planets in each other's 7th house. Our 7H rulers are touched, however, and are even aspecting each other by opposition.
* his Mars has only a widish square to my Jupiter and a 4 degree sextile to my Uranus. However, i think what is helping, is my Mars conjunct his ASC. Because i couldn't say that he lacks initiative, lol. Also in draconic charts his Mars is exactly conjunct my Venus & my Mars is exactly opposite his Venus. And in composite there is an exact Venus - Mars square. AND composite Sun is exactly on his natal Mars.

* We have a mutual Pluto square Moon aspect. We both have it natally and a double whammy in synastry, which makes for an opposition in composite. I think it is ok for us, because we are used to that kind of energy - him being a Scorpio, even more so. But maybe some power plays would follow. It is still a very new relationship in its beginning phase.

* No major aspects between our Suns and Venuses. I mean, we do have an exact semisextile from his Sun to my Venus and an exact quintile from my Sun to his Venus, but i don't know if it enough.

* His Saturn squares my Mercury and Venus, but i guess it is ok for longevity.

Oh, i almost forgot - his Valentine closely conjunct my Sun. My Eros exactly opposes his Psyche AND his Eros exactly opposes mine. That sounds really nice.

Yes, I can totally believe that a Sun/Moon square can work just fine in synastry as long as there are other things to compensate for it. At least the luminaries are touching each other!

I also think that in terms of attraction people overlook Sun/Moon aspects way too much. Actually, a Sun/Moon square, especially if it involves a relationship house, can operate similar to a Venus/Mars square. Hard aspects are dynamic and passionate. The Sun is attracted to the Moon person’s vulnerability and has a tendency to chase them, and also want to protect them. The Moon person is often struck by the Sun person’s presence and charisma, and feels deeply for them. being that he is the Sun person, I’m not surprised he is the pursuer. Also, with Leo on the 5th house cusp, the Sun is his 5th house ruler and so his 5th house ruler is square your Moon adding to the chemistry. His Leo 5th house is also attracted to your Leo Moon and Jupiter by sign.

There’s not a strong resonance with each other’s 7th houses, except for aspects to the 7th house ruler (which always helps). But interestingly each has the other’s Juno sign as their Sun sign. You have Juno in Scorpio and he is a Scorpio. He has Juno in Libra and you are a Libra. I’ve sometimes found that when 7th house connections are not so strong that Juno can substitute. Juno is all about what we look for in a committed partner. There is some 7th house connection though, your 7th house ruler Neptune does match well with his Cap Venus, and Cap outer planets by sign. His 7th house ruler in Cancer has a light tie to you overlaying his 4th house with your Moon and Jupiter. He looks for both fun and comfort (that ‘at home with each other’ feeling) in relationships.

The 5th house connections are very strong here though. Your Asc falls into his 5th house. Again, your Moon and Jupiter match his 5th house by sign and his 5th house ruler squares your Moon. His Moon in Aqua falls into your 5th house, and again, his Cap Venus and outer planets match your 5th house cusp by sign. There is probably quite a strong feeling of romance and adoration between you.

Your Libra planets may resonate with his 5th house in a secondary way also… Here’s what I mean… The secondary 5th house is the house ruled by the sign on the 5th house cusp. In his case Leo leads back to itself because Leo already rules the 5th house naturally. However, the sign Virgo is entirely encompassed within his 5th house and so this may show his true secondary 5th house (because the Leo part only leads back to itself)… Virgo rules the 6th house and his 6th house starts in early Libra. Apart from the Juno sign connection, this could be another reason why he likes your Libra planets on a symbolic level.

He resonates quite strongly with your Mars taste in men. Firstly, his Asc in Gemini is in the same sign as your Mars. And secondly, women are often attracted not just to the sign of their Mars but also to the house ruled by the sign of their Mars. Mars in the sign Gemini traditionally rules the 3rd house… In your case the 3rd house is Scorpio where his Sun, Mercury, and Pluto fall. So the Scorpio attraction is coming from more then just the Juno placement. Mars in Gemini is also your 8th house ruler so the match to his Asc is doubly significant here.

He has Capricorn on the 8th house cusp with Venus, Uranus, Neptune and Saturn all in Capricorn in the 8th house. Venus appears to be closest to the 8th house cusp which highlights an attraction to Venus types again (ahem, Libra). I seem to remember that you have a tight Saturn/Sun square in your chart and this my actually be attractive to him because of his 8th house… The ‘Venus in 8th/Capricorn in the 8th ruled by Saturn in Cap’ combo would draw him to a Venus/Saturn type in some form or another. A Libra Sun squared by Saturn in Cap matches that profile. Also, with his Sag Dsc the 9th house is his secondary 7th house. His 9th house cusp falls on the sign Capricorn as well. So I think you found someone that actually is attracted by the energy of your Sun/Saturn square.

All of this sounds very good. The grand trine involving his Moon to your Venus/Mars helps balance the intense Sun/Moon square that you two share.

Yes, i was a bit bothered by his almost unaspected Mars, but then i just let go, because it is touched by composite Sun and in draconic it is exactly conjunct my Venus anyway.

As to his Venus, it is actually not unaspected, it conjuncts my Uranus. Though, he has it natally, so maybe it doesn't matter.
