With your Pluto on her SN I believe she might feel her motherly authority questioned. I think she might feel inadequate and powerless around you. Things can escalate from there.
Mars square Chiron is very difficult too.What's the issue, bitter words or actual screaming fights? I have Moon opp Moon with my mom. We don't connect emotionally at all. It's painful
Oh and she's also a Virgo...I'm Gem our Sun's square each other...
