Same here ~ that's always been my thinking.* I have Venus conjunct Neptune..that's sorta like 12H Venus? And Venus trine 12H Saturn. ---------------- *Except with my husband, I just fell in love with him and married him. IP: Logged |

Do you always try to go slow n take your time? What sign is your Venus and does it square anything? This guy has libra Venus, only aspect is square Saturn 5 degrees. IP: Logged |

Ok...thank you! So the Neptune/Venus energy with age slows down and learns to take it slow, eventually. That makes sense...my 12th house moon has learned the same things with time. You can't protect yourself if you open up to quickly. I've always related to this song regarding love..guess it could my 12th house Moon or my Pluto/Venus... http://youtu.be/Ng4P6FWVdcE

I think this kinda hits the nail on the head here. In the beginning of a love relationship most people are all dreamy about each other... In a whirlwind romance it may come as a sudden shock when our partner displays some undesirable trait. Now we're questioning everything, we freak out. In a slow courtship there's time to gradually get to know someone, both their positives and negatives. Over time, with lots of interaction, our image of the person becomes more and more realistic. Things are revealed gradually so it's not such a shock to the system. With Venus in the 12th, I think there can be both high and low manifestations of it. The low side to me is someone who projects unrealistic expectations onto someone before they even know them, and then ditches a relationship at the slightest hint of imperfection. The high side of Venus in the 12th is somebody with compassion. Like they can see you flaws, but they accept you anyway, because they see their love and devotion to you as more important a few hiccups along the way. This type of approach takes time to develop though. There is a side to Pisces/12th house types that's very giving and tolerant... Some sense of discrimination is important though. It's good to be tolerant and accepting but at the same time if someone starts to take advantage of you in a harmful way you've got to put your foot down. IP: Logged |

Thank you! I know I've had to learn how to balance the acceptance with a need to protect myself. I know how much it hurts to be abandoned, even if I didn't know why those ppl left(my father/family..etc) I felt it was because I wasn't worth loving or staying. So I've spent my life hurting over that abandonment(my dad left when I was 8months old) I never wanted to make ppl feel or hurt like that so I've stayed and accepted to much bad behavior from others because I didn't want to abandon them like id been. I'm learning how to be a bit more selective and give less so I see how much others are willing to give me. Maybe that's a 12th house lesson? IP: Logged |

It's been a deeply personal song to me for so many years. I'd never thought until now much it describes moon in 12th, really it describes any personal/love/emotional planets in 12th. Just looked and found out Sting, who wrote this song, has libra Neptune exact conjunct his libra Moon on his IC.....exact on my Venus 💞!! http://youtu.be/Ng4P6FWVdcE Lyrics- Sting "Be Still My Beating Heart" Be still my beating heart It would be better to be cool It's not time to be open just yet A lesson once learned is so hard to forget Be still my beating heart Or I'll be taken for a fool It's not healthy to run at this pace The blood runs so red to my face I've been to every single book I know To soothe the thoughts that plague me so I sink like a stone that's been thrown in the ocean My logic has drowned in a sea of emotion Stop before you start Be still my beating heart Restore my broken dreams They shattered like falling glass I'm not ready to be broken just yet A lesson once learned is so hard to forget Be still my beating heart You must learn to stand your ground It's not healthy to run at this pace The blood runs so red to my face I've been to every single book I know To soothe the thoughts that plague me so Stop before you start Be still my beating heart Never to be wrong Never to make promises that break It's like singing in the wind Or writing on the surface of a lake And I wriggle like a fish caught on dry land And I struggle to avoid any helping hand I sink like a stone that's been thrown in the ocean My logic has drowned in a sea of emotion Stop before you start Be still my beating heart IP: Logged |

I have 12th house cap venus. Lol I assure you my husband is very happy in love with me. With all his intensity, he needs/wants a lot. So if he's not happy, he'd make it known. Plus, with all the things I've done, I've already made it clear how much he means to me. He has the best part of me. Saturn and neptune energy, devotion and sacrifices. To me, nothing speaks of love more than those two things. My venus conjunct his asc. I feel that he's perfect for me.

IP: Logged |

The thing is I'm in love with the idea of love, just as much as I'm in love with him. And hell I do fantasize, in my fantasies, there are all sort of things, real and delusional. Flowers, sun, rain, auroras and whatnot. And people. Fantasies are important because they're a part of me. Not because I'm not satisfied with my chosen one. I realize that those who are more realistic may not see it the way I do. At the beginning, I had a rather hard time explaining it to my husband. He needed to know where he stood with me. The best way I can describe it is that it's like a whirlpool full of everything. He's not the only thing in it. But he's the biggest thing that stands in the centre and has my attention. My mind, the dreamy part of me, is a kite, and he holds my string. Hah I made a painting about it. It's a bit too intimate to show, but yeah, I painted him in the middle, and swirling around him is a myriad of things - the whole world. IP: Logged |

Wow 12muddy...that's such an amazing and visual way to discribe what you feel. I can see it in my mind as you talk about it. Your making it easier to understand and potentially accept the way a 12th house Venus loves. It's so beautiful how you describe it. IP: Logged |

I think that if a 12th house venus realises that you can actually understand them on their level, you have gained a great deal of trust and that may be half the battle. As far as I have learnt (with my 12th venus soulmate) they need someone who 'gets' their way of loving, their fantasies, ideals, other wordly imaginings. It affirms them when you can accept them just as they are.IP: Logged |

I have Sun in 12, Moon in 8, Mercury & Venus in 12.We just don't belong here. Part of us is "here", yes. But we're never really "here". We just think we are. We live in a different dimension. IP: Logged |

It was hard for him to tell where the dreams end and reality begins. Heh, this is one of the reasons why he's slightly obsessed with mapping my mind. A map, a manual would have been handy. Unfortunately I couldn't give him one. It was up to him to take the risk. My 12th house stellium of 5 planets fall into his 12th house. Lucky guy. At the beginning, it was sort of blind trust on his part. To me, it was truly magnificent to see him diving in head first, without knowing how things might turn out for him. He dived, and for a while, lost in uncertainty. That was the sacrifice he made. It took a toll on him, he was used to facts and things one can see and touch. Fortunately as time went by, I delivered (venus conjunct saturn - backing up my words and promises with actions is a part of my loving way). Heh bet on the right horse, he did. One of the things I used to tell him was that the many sides of me do not always want the same thing. I'm full of conflicts which somehow manage to work together. But I know for sure that all sides of me want him. There's always that danger of getting lost in the 12th house person's dreams. And I know those who probably will forever in pursuit of unattainable ideals. It would hurt terribly to be one of their "disappointments". So I agree with the other posters about treading carefully. At least figure out what "type" of 12th house manifestation they have, before getting in too deep. IP: Logged |

I have Rx Venus in Aquarius in the 12th house. After all this search in my life, I think we are more happy with people that have basic planets in the 12th house and/or might as well have Piscean traits (ex. Mars in the 12th house or Sun/Neptune conjunction). We need someone that can help us escape daily.IP: Logged |

Venus in 12th is similar to Venus in PiscesWhat these creatures want is to yearn for love, not to be given love on a silver platter. The only way to have their heart is by torturing them, then love them in an passive - aggressive way. Being slightly or more so unattainable works wonders with these subjects. This is the only way it works. Loving them unconditionally with no fight, is never gonna work. They need to suffer for their love and being punished for it, too. Ohhh, the joy... IP: Logged |
