While not impossible, it's definitely not naturally geared for it, no. There will be major adjustments and paradigm shifts required on behalf of both (especially whose expressing the MARS/MOON quincunx) to make that possible. In any case, anything which 'puts down roots' is going to be hard to come by.

I'm wondering if the inherent challenge is one of the major goals of the connexion itself? Lots in latter signs, so there's a definite 'wrapping up' of something. MOON on SNODE in the 6H, with NNODE conjunct MARS in 12H ...

That 2H is going to become vitally important later, when the repressed Martian energy begins to express. Issues of possessiveness, potential jealousies, and 'ownership' coming into play.
