I would like to know your thoughts on an aspect like this. Between people in general, family, acquaintances, bosses, etc.

Would you say this causes struggle and misunderstandings? I feel it like hitting a brick wall. Every conversation turns into an argument of totally opposite views.

Considering how long of a period you are referring to you have to consider all the other personal transits that may or may not be in play.
I am 54 and Pluto didn't square my Pluto until 1998 and was within a 3 degree orb for nearly 3 years. I don't hang out with 15-17 year olds so no personal experience. But feel that a lot of other transits taking place over that 3 year period could go either way.
I suppose in the case of someone having a grandchild with that square I would look at where was the ruler of the sign Pluto was in.
Such that if Pluto was in sa and Jupiter was in Pisces and Aries and those two signs are in good shape in chart of the older person that would bode well for the grandparent/grandchild interaction.

I'm having to solve a bureaucratic issue with someone who has that square with me...geez...it's been hell
It's like I'm talking to a XIX century character, very difficult. Tries to twist my project in a whole different direction. It's not advice mind you, it's down right control freak behaviour.

I feel like burning his house down in revenge...that's how bad it is lol

I'm dealing with a cunning old fox here....sigh
