I'm actually just posting this for fun. We met in November of 2011 and dated from April of 2012 until February of 2014. I always thought our synastry was interesting because our Asc/Desc and Ic/Mc lined up as if we almost completed each other. Both TOB and places for both of us were known and exact so there's no ambiguity. I would love to hear what you guys think about it to see if it matched up with how the relationship was and why it probably ultimately ended

Synastry:

I'm inside, he's outside

venus-saturn conjunct in composite indicates that it felt like there were a wall between you two and you cant fully express your affection. Feels a bit parental...

Sun conjunct uranus in composite = volatile/instable; jupiter trine sun makes for generally jovial mood. Moon-mars opposition brings lots of energy, including arguments and good sex.

I still have to take a look at your synastry but I dont have time now...

I am curious if this relationship happened in person or was it long-distance?

The last 9 months of our relationship was long distance, first because he graduate, second because he left to study abroad.

Well I'm still looking at the composite now.

Mars doesn't make any positive aspect and it's also retrograde so decisio making must be hard for you both. Plus the opposition to moon would make you two emotionally insensitive and incompatible to each other. The Venus-Saturn conjunction is almost exact. You are a very Saturnian person with Aqya sun and capricorn moon so you were probably attracted to him because you two have a very reliable, responsible bonding but it lacks passion. He is a Scorpio sun with moon and Venus in Sag. He probably felt suffocated in the relationship.

Your vertex and his are opposite with your node on his moon to add. That's a karmic bond but he felt at time he has to guide you towards your freedom loving side and you sometimes feel dragged towards that Saggo north node while you rather stay at you Gemini south node.

Your moon is right on his Uranus which is also his chart ruler. You two came together very quickly and broke it off equally quickly. Once Uranus hits it's breaking point, it's gonna drop it like it's hot.

Your Saturn in his first house while his Jupiter is in yours. So he brings this expansive feeling to your sense of self while you bring the discipline and restriction.

Both are binding forces but younger people tend to gravitate towards their Jupiter side. I think you two have a not very good Composite in my humble opinion. the Synastry indicates very familiar feelings and great chemistry but the longer you two know each other, the more it feels like a trap and you two can't seem to assert yourself (that retrograde Mars in Gemini). Not only that he has the gemini Mars retrograde natally so he doesn't see his passive-aggressive ways as a problem. He would feel the Saturn-Venus conjunction more. While you just can't stand how elusive he is. Also this conjunction oppose composite Chiron by 2 degrees.

So yeah... That's my interpretation. I personally rely a lot on a composite once the relationship has set in.

That's so interesting about the Uranus part that you mentioned. We talked and took things very slowly without really having any intentions and then after a wonderful night together in April BOOM we were dating. Then when I broke up with him it was very sudden and emotional, and afterwards I wanted to work things out and try again but he wasn't interested at all and was extremely distant as if the last two years didn't happen. Must have been all of the Uranus energy

I'm a bit curious about the saturn stuff in my natal that you mentioned also. I think I have a grand cross in my natal. Does that mean that most people that I date that have mostly trines and not many bad aspects to saturn are going to find me stifling and suffocating?

Astrology is just s tool for you to assess who a person is. You are very Saturnian and you need to find someone who appreciates Saturnian energy. He in the other hand is very jupiterian/Saggo so his basic personality doesn't fit with you in the long run.

That doesn't mean everyone you date is gonna find you suffocating.

I'm very Saturnian too, with Uranian and Pluto energy to add. Somebody with his energy would find me suffocating too.

Take astrology as a tool to understand yourself first and what you want out of a relationship.

What would be an example of someone that would appreciate and be receptive to that type of energy? Sorry if I'm asking dumb questions. There's a lot I don't know and I'm interested in this a lot

You need to look into basic astrology:
-people with moon/Mars/Venus that make aspects with yours
-people with planets making aspects to ruler of your chart (since you have Leo rising, that'd be your sun)
-people with planets in your 5th and 7th and 8th or make aspects to your 5th, 7th and 8th rulers
-people with planets aspecting your nodes and vertex

The more connections you have, the better.

Obviously you have to make the same aspects to theirs... This means you are their "type"
