Mercury/Jupiter (Leo) opposite Mercury/Saturn (Aqua)In communication and thought are these two at odds? How so? Also I think a Jupiter Saturn opposition should be interesting since both are teachers, but...idk. What do you think? IP: Logged |

Sounds good to me. The Jupiter/Saturn opposition is something I have natally so I think it's fiiine...The Mirror effect of this opposition is strong. I think it definitely would be interesting, conversation would remain interesting and touch on a broad range of subjects. The Saturn-Mercury party might at times run a bit cold for Jupiter-Mercury's liking--I foresee Jup-Merc being totally excited about a convo and Saturn-Merc shutting it down prematurely, maybe out of insecurity. This aspect could help draw them out though. IP: Logged |

Yeah... Since the Mercury/Saturn is in Aqua there will definitely be a tendency towards both intensity and aloofness in the communication style of that native... It could be charming and resonate deeply with Merc/Jup in Leo, whose generous heart will be in tune with the spirit of the Aqua native, which is ultimately very responsible for the collective. Saturn will discuss matters of societal import. Jupiter will talk about anything, as long as they get to hear themselves speak! I think it could work out really nicely, the Jupiter person will end up doing most of the talking, hopefully not just to fill space and soothe their ego (Saturn might not always be encouraging, but could at times really reinforce the weight and breadth of the conversation so that good headway was made on matters of collective heart chakra opening and the like). Composite Saturn/Mercury is where? Curious about house positions in all of this. Hope my rambles are helpful. IP: Logged |

Most definitely. I'm taking it all in and appreciate it very much! So Merc/Jup in Leo is 12th house on the Asc, falling in partner's 8th house. Merc/Saturn in Aqua is 2nd house with Merc in partner's 6th, Saturn in partner's 7th, both tightly conjunct partner's DC. I'd put up a chart, but I'm not at home, and don't know how to do it on my phone. IP: Logged |

In composite Mercury is 1st house 14 Scorpio. Saturn is 2nd house 29 Scorpio. Saturn is conjunct Neptune 2 Sagittarius opposite Jupiter 3 Gemini.IP: Logged |

^LOL. Jupiter likes to hear herself speak. There's certainly some of that.Saturn does like to talk about matters of societal import. But Jupiter thinks his conspiracy theories are a waste of time. She doesn't disbelieve, she just thinks whatever will be will be. In the meantime let's fill our minds and hearts with bigger and better things, or lesser things, but anything other than conspiracies that only serve to frighten us and limit our potential to experience life.

I think you both would have some interesting conversations. Mercury/Saturn could crystalize Mercury/Jupiter's ideas and help bring them to fruition. Considering the 8th and 12th house overlays, the topics would not be frivolous and could lead to real change and transformation. The only downside is the fixed modalities which could lead to ego based arguments. If you and this person stay out of that minefield, you both could be very beneficial to each other and possibly others as well.------------------ Claire "When going gets weird, the weird turn pro." -HST IP: Logged |

yes. This happens. Im Jupiter, and Saturn really tests me and pushes me to "know thyself". Even when the convo ends not so nice, i feel really great about getting clear about what i think. quote:

there's a lot of joking and playing, and then things get serious and deep, and then suddenly we're cracking up. It's like a piece of conversation weave work quote: The only downside is the fixed modalities which could lead to ego based arguments. I've seen this happening. Thanks for putting it into words and identifying it. I'll watch myself and remind Saturn :-) IP: Logged |
