"Hekate is the 100th asteroid named, and discovered on July 11, 1868. In her manifestation as Hekate, her asteroid designation, she is the place we go to in our astrological charts to find out what we need to do to discern our direction in life."I noticed that Hekate is conjunct my North Node and I want to get to know her better. I know she is a triple goddess and a very powrrful witch, advisor to the gods. Also what it says above. So I guess my clues for advancing are right there in my destination, my destination is here all along, guiding me, maybe. I already know the aspects to my own North Node in my chart so I want to explore my relationship with her a little more deeply and I think I'm going to check my synastry with the date of her discovery... She has a very interesting birthday, I know that much already from my readings. I'm gonna do it anyway and report on my findings but I was curious to know if any of you have tried this, whether it's been revelatory for you? Thanks <3 IP: Logged |

I've always been interested and I'm not in a place I can run a chart right now...My Hekate falls on my Sun/Moon midpoint so I'm naturally a "Hekate" kind of person since she's intergrated into my who I am and my life's purpose.

Her Moon was about 5 degrees off the Moon last night, as you can see. Hekate was being really conciliatory last night! Making harmony between the moon and sun, and the North and South Nodes, with a trine and sextile... makes perfect sense to me   IP: Logged |

It was just her Saturn return! Her Saturn is retrograde. Makes sense to me... As a skilled advisor, she would quietly contemplate Saturnian manners inwardly and then express the proper course of action when it is tune. She is so Cancerian! Her Sun trine mine, 1°... I have sympathy for her soft inner core. It makes sense that she would be somewhat secretly very sensitive, though most see the hard outer shell. The Aries Moon definitely makes sense to kinda beef up the Cancer-ness... She's bad-ass and knows how to take care of herself, independent at heart... Though Cancer-like she is willing to stay close by those she's working with... a loyal consort. Her moon is loosely conjunct my Mars... I think it's cute that her South Node is in Aquarius, as ridiculous as it is for me to presume to consider an ancient triple goddess cute! The energies of these placements are obviously extremely refined; she is an elder par excellence... But her maiden form is not to be ignored. And it's interesting that She's moving from Aquarian detached-ness towards Leonine warmth and self-expression. IP: Logged |

Her Chiron is totally a powerhouse, first degree of Aries. Her identity as a healer is very strong! And her Saturn square Nodes... How would you interpret that in an Asteroid entity... She helps us identify where we missed our hardest karmic lessons and work on that, in a gentle, yet firm, motherly kind of way...The Cancer placements have me looking more to the Mother aspect of the triple goddess; the Mother waiting at the crossroads to guide us throughout our lives, with the greatvwisdom of the crone blossoming in her, and patience for and love/passion of the maiden... In some ways motherhood is perhaps the crossroad of our lives, in a metaphysical sense... When we give birth, to physical children, or ideas, or creations, we are standing at a crossroad between life and death, newness and birth, and the inevitability of death and age... I noticed that, too! CHIRON on the Aries Point. Wow. So, my twin's CHIRON is technically conjunct the HEKATE discovery CHIRON. He's got remarkable healing abilities -- even though -- surprise, surprise! -- he can't quite heal himself. We both have structural issues, so to speak. He's scoliotic, and I've got FMS. It's 'a house of cards' as he's aptly stated. Huh, and her tSUN is 0º conjunct his 8H VERTEX. Her tPLUTO is on my CHIRON -- which progressed into the 8H when I was 7. Even as we may never truly resolve our own issues in regards to sexuality, it may prove really fruitful to share our work with others, so that they may actually heal. Wow. tSATURN on 29º Scorpio. I always sense some affliction in Hekate, like a spinal issue, also, scoliosis is apt--I feel her pain. I want to be gentle with her. I know she is so powerful, but it's a tender, almost shy feeling of concern which I almost don't want to express for fear of hurting her. But I know she isn't proud--she's compassionate, if a little strict and dark at times in her knowingness (Saturn at 29 Scorp indeed!)... Maybe it's my Mars there on her Chiron, I'm aware that I trigger her pain/healing ability and I want to step lightly... because of the softer aspects... But I feel my masculine over-bearingness somehow in relation to her, as I do when I'm around girls I like, and don't want todisrespect them by showing my interest... This full moon maybe has some teachings for me about my Mars and how best to honour and be sensitive to the feminine, conciliatory side of others. I feel like there is an internal psychological struggle going on for Mars as archetype right now for me... I want him to chill out and respect women... I want harmony between yin and yang...... Her Pluto on your Chiron which progressed into the 8th house at 7! Ah... so your Chiron natally was near the juncture between the 7th and 8th... The doorway between relationship and the realization that the death of the self is about to occur? Your mission as healer and your woundesness... to assimilate the experience of Union/partnership in the 7th and die to the self and be born anew to explore the universe as a liberated Soul in touch with the Oversoul of which we are all a part.. Makes sense to me that you hang out in IP with a natal 7h chiron. I've been wondering what it is aptly that predisposes us to be especially fascinated with relationship. For you, maybe that's a big part of it?
