Hello there,

I have a silly question, probably to easy to answer for others, but not for me.
A couple of months ago I calculated synastry rapport for me and my lover.
I saw a Venus-Pluto Trine but I didnt know wich one of us was Pluto and wich one Venus.
Since it can work both ways.
I have my Venus in Gemini, and my Pluto in Scorpio.
He has his Venus in Cancer and his Pluto in Libra.

This is verry frustrating.
Pluto Trine Venus 0.25

Can someone tell me, in simple words, how to find out who in this case iss Pluto and who is Venus?
And what does 0,25 tell us about the aspect?

Thanks in advance, from an amateur who's interested in Astrology.

Hi
You need to go to astro.com and generate your synastry. You will see there a synastry chart made of your two natal charts, one blue inside, one red outside and the lines between the planets are the various aspects.

The trine is between two planets in the same element: water, earth, air or fire. Here you have two possible trines, one is water, the other is air, but probably only one of them is in orb. The orbs considered on astro.com are of 10 degrees for major aspects (which include the trine).

The trine you have here is very tight in orb, considered an exact trine.

If you generate and post your synastry chart here, we can visualize it

It could be either on of those. A planet in Libra can trine a planet in Gem, and a planet in Scorp can trine a planet in Cancer. I think the astrologers will ask for a chart or degrees at the very least.

Thank you for your response.
I find it verry hard and tedious te make a wheel.
Or, in better words, to let astro.com make a wheel.
It's complicated to read.

Even if I make this wheel, how do I post it here?

You upload the photo to Imgur or Tinypic and copy/paste the link for forums here.

Astrology is indeed complicated, at first, but with practice you get the hang of it

I think I found a way to find out.
I just made a wheel and there is an option to click on PDF tables and so I did.
At the bottom there was a table where the aspects were put and I was the horizontal person and he was vertical.
It turns out that he is the Venus person and Im the Pluto person.
Only one thing though:
Astro.com 'says' that the orb is -0.15

This day I calculatd out synastry on another website and it said 0.25
Is astro.com reliable?
This is a huge difference !!!!!

Is the orb still tight and what do those numbers mean?

It's not a huge difference, as I said the orb can be between 0 and 10 degrees, yours is 0 degree and 15 minutes, this is 10 minutes off.

Yes, astro.com is the most exact.

Your trine between Venus Pluto is the blue line you see on the map, between Venus and Pluto.

You need to learn the glyphs for the planets and how the aspects are represented ( opposition and squares are red, sextiles and trines are blue, quincunx is green and so on)
