This is a weirdly dumb question, but I'm unsure of how I've been doing this.To compare my natal to the composite of my bf and me, what do i look at? Just "Oh, in my natal house I have venus. In composite 1H we have venus, Sun, and mars. So, my venus is conjunct that stellium."?? Is there a chart you can run in astro. that does this? Thanks, and sorry for the noobness. IP: Logged |

for a first approach: conjunctions and oppositions to your natal planets within 3 degrees. Keep an eye on which natal aspect-configuratons are being triggered by such an overlay, and also if the planet triggered is an important one for you. IP: Logged |

An example of the routine.1. Generate the composite and the two natals separately. 2. Notice the super-composite-stellium-it'd-be-awesome-to-aspect-natally. (Or any of your comp's astrobodies, for that matter.) 3. Note its placement. (Oooooh, 18° Virgo. Wonder what's there.) 4. Realise that's your ASC's placement, as well as his SUN/MOON midpoint's. 5. :squeal: 6. 'That explains it !' :eurekamoment: Five seconds later... 7. Adapt to the new dimension your relationship's taken. 8. Be hungry for more. 9. Search for more. IP: Logged |

I guess I'm still confused tho... So, do I look at the houses, or the signs of the houses.
So, if the 1st house in the composite is in Capricorn, with the sun/venus/mars stellium there at about 21 degrees or something, and my natal first house is in Aquarius, but I have venus in the first house (of aquarius) at 21 degrees, is that a conjunction since it's a 'house overlay'? Or, I look at the house represented by Capricorn in my natal chart, and what planets are at 21 degrees cap in my natal to see if they conjunct? Yes I know this is super basic. Sorry for that. Hope that makes sense? IP: Logged |

Haaaa been reading this all wrong. So, for instance, My composite with my bf has the following: AC at 5 degrees Capricorn. Sun and Venus at 12 degrees Capricorn (conjunct almost exactly, less than 1 degree). BF natal has: Sun at almost 3 degrees Cap. Angel and Juno conjunct at 5 and 8 degrees Cap Neptune 5 degrees cap. So THAT counts as conjunctiony for my bf to our composite, correct? IP: Logged |

Oh and my moon is at 3 degrees Libra (composite is 2 degrees Libra). So, even tho different houses... that counts as conjunction, right?IP: Logged |

Great one! Can you believe it? I just recently noticed that the composite Valentine-Lust-Angel-conjunction falls onto his natal Uranus (c-Valentine/n-Uranus exact on 23 Scorpio) while the c-ALMA on 20 Taurus and c-JUNO on 22 Taurus opposes his Valentine IP: Logged |

to c-ASC, yes. To c-Sun-Venus only in relation to Juno and only weakly. IP: Logged |

That's typically the first way to start, yes, noticing the conjunctions.I've got to say, however, that the 'synastry' technique I've stumbled into, (doubt I 'developed' it) has been tremendously useful in gaining greater perspective. And I've been doing this astrology thang for a long time. If something 'new' comes to me, it's kinda surprising. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum35/HTML/003573.html BTW: Pel. You're friggin' adorkable. IP: Logged |

The generating two natals and a composite at the same time option? It totally does! Composite + Natals man! It's the bomb.
Loved your list of steps by the way IP: Logged |
