As it's sure to greatly influence, 'flavour' or texture the NNODE's experience, I'm wondering what we might expect in synastry when another's point comes into contact -- namely, conjunction -- with it.

Take VENUS, for example. We know what we could expect with a VENUS-NNODE synastric conjunction, but what if, say -- as in my case, NNODE is also 0º conjunct OSIRIS? This is going to impact the general energy of the VENUS-NNODE conjunction; the question is, how?

What are your thoughts and experiences in this area? How have your NNODE conjunctions in synastry been influenced by your own (or their) natal conjunction?

My boyfriend has his Ascendant conjunct my North Node. The orb is dependent on which node we're using. If we're using the Mean North Node, then the degree is exact. If we're using the True North Node, there is a 2-degree orb. I use both the True and Mean North Nodes, because I find them both relevant in my life.

He tells me things like, "You're the one for me" and "We were meant to be together." It seems like he feels like the connection was fated on some level. I have to agree with him on this. This relationship does not feel like a coincidence. Somehow, we were drawn to each other like magnets.

I've wanted to walk away a few times and each time I just get pulled in even deeper. Something keeps me with him. I'm almost worried about the nature of our connection since our relationship also seems a bit karmic in nature. I don't want my relationship to be karmic, but if I said I was surprised I'd be lying.

Sadly, I have no conjunctions to his North Node. That would involve finding some asteroids in Sagittarius. I only know about my Angel asteroid being in Sagittarius and it's nowhere near his North Node. This isn't to say I don't make any aspects to his North Node. I do make a few; the easiest one to see at the moment is his North Node square my Midheaven.

Thanks, Lerena!

I have the NNODE-ASC conjunction with my husband, so indeed, I understand the draw.

What do you have natally conjunct your NNODE, that also is conjunct his ASC? You didn't mention that part.

I have saturn conjunct NN. My s.o's asc conjunct my NN and saturn.

The best way I can describe it is that he "enhances" my NN. My NN is in the same sign of my stellium, chart and sun ruler, in the 1st house - so I naturally exude many of its qualities. But I feel that he helps me taking it to a whole new level. He "validates" my goals, encourages and support them...etc... even when there was great opposition and doubts from other people. In short, he believed me when no one did. Heh, it makes me feel loved.

He conjuncts my NN (3) with his Neptune, DSC ruler and Sun disp. I have this conjunction already, an ambient one, as you so nicely put it . He is making it tighter for me.

The way to interpret it, I assume, is this: as a partner (DSC ruler) and personality (Sun disp) he is supporting, in a Neptunian way (arts, idealization, love, compassion, healing, unspoken connection etc.) my life direction and my own Neptune theme around my NN and the whole chart (very strong one in my chart) which includes my Pisces Jupiter widely conj his Sun, and in mutual reception with this Neptune and direct sq to my NN. It's a whole story of Pisces/Sag - Neptune/Jupiter. Making the ambient conj tighter, he creates a push on the nodal axis. His NN is there too, 10 deg apart.

I seem to have loved you in numberless forms...

I have Lillith conjunct my NN. It seems like when someone else's planets touch my Lillith/NN, it sets off some kind of electrical charge. I haven't been able to understand it or completely describe the energy that I feel being generated. Anyone else experience this?

I've got Diana conjunct my NN and I really identify strongly with her; her lifestyle does seem to me the epitome of grace and wisdom, and a certain avenue for happiness, if only I had a pack of wild womyn and a mountaintop to roam and creatures to protect and babies to help birth.. I quite literally would like to do that. Just being in the wilderness and answering to nobody but the creatures themselves and the wild truths of those around me seems pretty ideal and zen...

I find that my inclination to be virgin, as in whole unto myself, is quite strong too when I'm in a healthy frame of mind--personally. It doesn't work so well, no matter how I am inclined towards it, to be in relationships with any edge of ownership.

Contacts to my Node--in my case, most recently, an opposition to the NN from the other's Sun, as you might recall--tend to eventually stir up my sense that if I'm being groomed in any way, or overly domesticated, or 'shown off' to the world, I'm not standing in my strength in the way which would be most fulfilling... (NN pisces 4th, SN virgo 10th)

My daughter's father has Jupiter conjunct my NN (and between the three of us, what with composites-natals etc, the amount of Jupiter-NN conjunctions is freaking crazy). While he also has his Saturn square my Nodes, that Jupiter.. well, what we did when we were together really upped the Diana factor in my life. We slept outdoors on the earth with no tent every night for a year, wherever we happened to be (back alleys, city parks, forests, beaches, mountains, etc), traveled by freight train back and forth across the continent, hiked up mountains in the dark, traveled and slept in very cold conditions, and generally were quite wild and free. We ate garbage and connected with wild things. I went through a lot of pain but also a lot of growth and was able to live out my inner strength and penchant for wandering--maybe in an exaggerated sense--and the adventure was taxing for me, more at his Sagittarian speed than my lonesome travel pace, which got to unfold also partly as a result of having traveled with him... but... you can see through this example that the Diana factor was present! eh?

A dear female friend with her Sun conjunct my NN lives alone in a bus on an island and embodies Piscean qualities so beautifully, makes my heart sing... The strong vibe of sisterhood we have together is surely textured by Diana's presence there too...

There`s no real "together", but yes, Mercury makes sense. Interestingly enough is Mercury is exactly conjunct MUSA so it is there as well, plus his KAALI on 6°47 Sag, but this is more closely aligned with my ASC, not really with my NN, though I find it interesting.

Natally I have KAALI on the SN (2 degrees), he puts his KAALI in a wide conjunction to my NN.

He himself has PARVATI on SN, and my PARVATI falls onto his NN.

NN conjunct Hirokun (no idea), Pele, Fulvia, Angelica and from the 25th's side but conjunct under the degree, Hatshepsut. I forget what else there was. Volatile goddess with many lovers, a politically savvy Roman woman married to Marc Antony (third wife, b4 Kleopatra) and the queen ruler of Egypt, accept no substitutes. Angelica could denote "angelic" or potentially point at the French adventuress from books and later movies, your call.

Theme might be "Strong women and how to kick the world's ass while we're at it" if you like. Alas, some men on the side or as a true equal(ly strong) partner would be nice as well, thank you.

Very little from other people has ever conjuncted it as I recall. A Jupiter conjunct it didn't do much (online writing style contact mostly) and disappeared or we're on hiatus contact-wise for now at least. There is a current MC-IC square to it and I like the person immensely otherwise, my Sun/Moon MP conjuncting his SN-NN and Sun and Moon squaring his NN, but I don't know what aside Saturn he has conjunct his NN yet. My Bellona conjuncts his NN and Saturn, Nepthys 1 conjunct his Saturn as I recall, but hopefully not going to war for now, or any time in the future either.

And we had a Venus and NN DW - a `conjunction and a square.

However, my NN is conjunct my vertex by 1°. How do you think that would alter the Venus NN influence?

His NN is conjunct Europa. He actually works for Europe .

I have NN in gemini in the 6th conjunct DC.

I have NORTHNODE conjunct VARUNA exact.
I have NORTHNODE conjunct HEPHAISTOS by 1.20d.
I have NORTHNODE conjunct KRONOS by about 2d.

The the thing is that I dont really feel drawn to people that conjunct my northnode.

I only think I was attracted once to someone whose SUN-VENUS conjuncted my NN and he was my prom date, he was 7 years older than me on his way to becoming a doctor; I asked him out and he said yes. His moon conjuncted my Southnode but I just don't feel he impacted my life all that much, I liked him a lot back then but did not fall in love.

I will say this I did learn a lot about what qualities I like and don't like in a mate from him and that is how I ended up with my Ex Mr. Ray who was a Scorpio with moon in pisces and can handle and enjoy the intensity that I brought to the table from my venus-mars-vertex-valentine in Leo in the 8th and my moon in pisces ruling my 8th.

Interesting my prom date had NN in Scorpio conjunct true Priapus conjunct my natal asteroid Name, my Kaali, my Reiki and my Hygeia. He was a good kisser but he was not ready to fully activate his northnode it seems .

^Oh boy my husband's Hephaistos conjuncts exact my DC and he has Hephaistos in the 2nd TRINE Aphrodite-Vertex in the 6th which sextiles my VENUS. I find it interesting bc he has a CNC machine and he is trying to perfect his skills running the machine and producing objects with it hoping he can make a living out of it and run his own business. He can talk about metals all day every day, he is also good at making music which is another way that Hephaistos trine Aphrodite-Vertex in libra can manifest.

He does feel rejected by his mother and is interesting that he feels rejected by her essentially bc his mother and brother are rich and his mother expected him to make a certain income which he did not reach. In addition, he feels his mother does not respect and accept his values and him as he is or truly values and loves him unconditionally so him having Hephaistos in GEMINI in the 2nd really fits; he feels a deep rejection and lack of effort or desire from mother to understand his ideas and values and true acceptance of his ideas and values and also rejection for his inability to make an X amount of money.

I will add that his moon falls in the 2nd house as well so perhaps having both in the 2nd manifests this way.

I haven't found much that is conjunct my North Node. Photographica is the closest conjunction to it so far and I have no idea what that indicates. The meanings for Photographica don't make much sense for me, so I can only be left wondering. Photographica is, however, conjunct my boyfriend's ascendant and my North Node, so maybe that means something for the two of us. Not really sure.

Perhaps he enjoys taking pictures of you or you of him or the two of you are photogenic in pics together!

Does it fit at all?

I have Photographica conjunct my peregrine Sun. Been pondering it lately. I do like photography and being in them, been thinking about focusing more on using their power in my life.
