For example, me and my boyfriend have no mercury-mercury, mercury-venus, or venus-venus aspects in our synastry. Plus, our mercury and venus are both in one another's 12th house so I see the pattern. We have double whammy moon-venus, moon-mercury, etc. This is the only major red flag I see. I don't want to focus on the entire synastry though, just these aspects. I listed a few more aspects to give a better idea. What happens?
Does this mean a lack of love between the two individuals? IP: Logged |

no, why would it mean that?Don`t get me wrong, those are sweet aspects, however you have Moon-Mercury, Moon-Venus, what more could you want? Moon certainly goes deeper and gives a more allencompassing emotional understanding and Moon-Venus just sounds so sweet, it almost disgusts this Aquarius-Moon. Just kidding. without Mercury-Venus well maybe you will not constantly whisper each other sweet nothings into each other`s ear, however with Moon there, it will be more emotionally profound than just a bit of a flirtation, or exchange of niceties or agreement.
having said that I love the vibe of Mercury-Venus, for sure, but I really think your Moon-aspects are amazing. IP: Logged |

I love moon-venus, I love the vibe, the emotional needs meet the lover needs, vice versa. I love moon-mercury, the intellectual gives satisfaction to the emotional needs and can understand the intellectual way. I love mercury-venus, the lover is attracted to the intellectual. I love mercury-mercury, the intellectual meets the intellectual. I love venus-venus, the lover meets the lover. In relationship, I would love to have MOON-VENUS in synastry, especially conjunction, sextile, trine, or opposition. I think yours is great, the fact is in DW would be lovely. I have square and sometimes I feel neglected, unloved, unsatisfied, not really a comfortable position to have in synastry but at the same time, it is intriguing position if you have another amazing link in the synastry to cover it up. Your moon-mercury DW is also great. Probably you have square? IP: Logged |

We have moon trine venus 1 degree and moon opposite venus exact at 0 degrees. Our moon-mercury double whammy is similar in orb. We also have our chart rulers conjunct at 0 degrees (Venus-Pluto) along with mars-venus at o degrees in opposition. I can definitely see how the lack mercury-venus aspects affects our communication though. IP: Logged |

And being that I have mercury conjunct venus in Scorpio, I guess this is one of my preferences. He's already so introverted being a Pisces Sun/Moon with Scorpio ASC. Gah I just want him to tell me how he feels more often. IP: Logged |

Well here's something else to add. I don't want to discourage, but encourage hopefully. I think it's wonderful to look at charts, synastry, etc to learn and discover. But I wouldn't put the weight of my future relationships on it. I've seen connections not work out like they are supposed to or things being there that don't look like they should be. (Charts vs relationship). I don't mean that astrology doesn't work. It's amazing and very accurate. What I'm saying is that it's so complex and deep that when you start to get good (which I am not. Lol ) there's still a whole world of it to discover. Composite, draconic (I LOVE draconic!!) and it goes on and on. Don't torture yourself over an aspect, or lack of one. Just go with it and see how it plays out. I have stuff in my synastry that other people would run faaaar away from but it's not like that for us. Learn, but have fun with it. Be carefree, love, laugh, but don't let an aspect or lack of one concern you much. I hope I'm not coming across wrong. I just like to see people go for what they want. Have fun, explore. You get hurt sometimes, you pick yourself up and you do it again! IP: Logged |

You're not coming off wrong at all! These words are needed often because a lot of us get so wrapped up in Astrology, we forget that. I appreciate your kind and encouraging words. You just breathed a bit of fresh air into my relationship with your perspective. I'm very appreciative. Thank you. <3 IP: Logged | |
