That's not what URANUS does; it asks that all involved consider alternative options and unconventional approaches. IF those are not addressed, then there could be issues, as one feels stifled or limited.

sun opposed to Uranus can work in a friendship because there are no exclusive emotional commitments. but the only way Uranus works in a relationship is when the relationship is open.and an open relationship sometimes is not a real relationship at all. I have seen Uranus in a grand cross define a long term relationship but even then there were periods of separation and reconcilation
