If you've had kids, did your 5h composite house/ruler indicate it between you and your partner?

My ex husband and I have 1 child - our 5h was ruled by Aries and Sun, Moon, Venus, NN and Mars were all in 5h

Mars was conj NN hehe

Anyway, I was just curious how it played out for others here who have kids w/their partner

I have three children with my ex husband. In the midpoint composite, the only thing we have in our 5th house is the south node.

In our Davison, we have Venus there, along with pof conjunct the north node.

With my current boyfriend, we do not have children together. In our midpoint composite we have our moon in the 5th, with the north node conjunct the IC. In our Davison the 5th is empty, but north node is still conjunct the IC.

Chart ruler for Davison with ex falls in the 5th house. With midpoint, ruler falls in the 2nd.

Sorry if this is dumb question, but why would 5H show kids? I thought 4H was what we focus on for that.......?
