When we talk about Pluto in relationship to another person's planet it's usually about how overwhelming it is in one way or another, but there's a lesson. There's always a lesson. What was your lesson learned after you were assailed by the other person's Pluto.

I'm looking for my lesson. His Pluto conjuncts my 2nd house Virgo Saturn. I've read what this conjunction can mean to a relationship, but I am trying to understand what it means to me.

According to one Vedic astrologer my Saturn is shined (weakened) by it's close conjunction to my NN. What effect do you think a conjunction from a healthy and kind individual's Pluto might have on that conjunction. Changes are happening. I can feel them. But I'm too close to identify them.

If you can't answer my specific questions, just please share your own experiences with Pluto in any aspect to any planet, and the lesson you believe you were supposed to learn. I'm good at pulling rabbits out of hats. Thank you.

Lots of Pluto in my synastry. My Pluto, her planets.
One thing is I think we both have lessons.

Scorpio, which of course is ruled by Pluto, contains my Uranus conjunct north node. Uranus happens to rule my 5th. Her Venus conjunct this Uranus/nn point.
I strongly feel, even if we set the technicalities of astrology aside, I feel that MY lesson as Pluto (in my first conjunct asc) is learning to let go.
As for the other way, I'm not sure. I'm thinking along the lines of "death", transformation leading to "rebirth" can be beautiful, exciting, and doesn't have to be scary.
I don't know. Sometimes I don't really understand it to be honest. Strange, Pluto being in my first conjunct asc and yet I get the impression that I'm only noticing PERHAPS even half of what it's bringing to the table. You know. Like if you sat in a room with a stinky dead body. After a few days stuck inside with it then you wouldn't notice anymore. 😀
Yet if you carry the body out into public (first house) everyone else smells it no problem.

Ok I got off the path there. Hehe

A side note. Maybe it depends on Pluto in the natal but I almost feel like others get obsessed with Pluto, not the other way. I've gotten obsessed but I've always blamed Neptune.
Oops. Of the path again.

I believe Pluto's lesson for me is to let go, and stop being so obsessive.

I have the out of sign opposition in my natal chart, so anyone who is a few years older than me will have their pluto opposing my Venus.

It's been painful, and embarrassing.

I currently have Pluto conjunct Venus in synastry with someone right now, but I'm the Pluto. Ugh, so frustrating.

That's gross.

I like it.

Something so much a part of you it's hard to see, but quite obvious and possibly shocking to others.

About Neptune; do you ever read the sufis on love? Rumi? Rumi's love is Neptunian love. Maybe you weren't obsessed, but you knew with a higher knowledge and loved with a higher...and deeper love. It's not a love you walk away from... It seems like obsession because it seems irrational. Eternity & Love.

My heart was hard hit by Love right at the dawn if life

It is that same pain which has become alive today

There needn't be any rhyme or reason or beginning or end.

Lacey with a natal Pluto/Venus square I can relate to your whole post.

You both said "letting go", whether you're Pluto or the planet.

Thinking...

I have pluto sextile venus/mars. Getting better but i still catch myself styling the tattoo which will be on my forehead - stalker from one side and abused from the other. Letting go of the past, learning from it faster is what i want.

The guy's moon (leo) who im ineterested in right now squares my pluto (lib) tho it says by 7d but im afraid. Afraid i cant balance my feelings and would come on too strong overwhelming the poor man or he'd read me right away and that would make him repulse me. Or he might be a con artist. I want to avoid playing games as much as possible fromm both sides. Or maybe that's how he meant to be in my life - only through astrology charts and learning from them. (he has pluto conj venus/mars too tho)

Years of therapy didn't help as much as reading up about my/our charts in the last couple of weeks. Im learning a lot, thanks to this forum and you all.

I was Pluto in a Pluto/Mars conjunction. I went absolutely berserk for the man. I never wanted anyone so badly. I never felt passion so strong. It didn't go anywhere at all, but I was about to tie myself to someone with whom I had no passionate feelings, out of duty, and for mu family and future goals. I think the purpose of that contact was to wake me up to myself and warn me not to deny myself.

Thanks VirgoP.

I have a Pluto/Sun square experience ill share, when I stop driving. Joke. I'm not texting and driving, but I'm about to pull off now 😊

I feel you venus2tinkerbell. I've seen this kind of situation around me, some have lost their sparkle, some are struggling like in the movies. I appreciate when im being out of 'that' bubble(my family) and standing on my own feet.

Be careful while driving

Sorry I wasn't much help. Just felt like talking I guess.
No I haven't read that but I'll look into it.
I suppose you're right because I never forget anyone has been in the sights of Neptune whether they knew about it or not.

Pluto has usually been about letting go for me, too. Letting go and getting my psyche completely pulverized, chewed up, spit out and stomped on, then covered in dirt, made into potting soil, and grown into the cutest little plant you ever did see, only to be crushed mercilessly before it has a chance to think about bearing any fruit.

I have a crush right now and there's a lot of Pluto in the synastry: His Pluto conjunct my Venus and IC, sextile my Mars. My Pluto opposite his Sun and Mercury, and sextile his Moon. And several tight minor aspects: my Pluto quincunx his Venus, his Pluto semi-square to my Sun and Mercury. I'm very curious as to what the lesson will be.

I'm thinking, he'll have an effect on what the concepts of responsibility and self-worth mean to you, or the way you view your needs. ( I could be projecting here )

That's a beautiful story about the Mars/Pluto Conjunction in that way, that it did save you from something your heart was not really in.

I think that is what Pluto can teach us - to be "all in", for the good or the worse.
We need that intensity, to feel alive - but like all outer planets, their energy dissolves the self, back to the plain where we came from and go to….it can feel endlessly painful.
Uranus makes you feel uncertain and left alone, Neptune brings you in touch with a kind of love you immediatly want to grab forever - and that makes it go away, and Pluto is that exitential force that brings something into being and takes it back to indeterminacy.
For me, Neptune and Pluto have a similarity in synastry.
They can bring an addiction to life, because our small selves are too fragile for it's energies. Maybe it's because we get in touch with that oneness, when we are dead or not yet born, and this abstract kind of love and intensity calls forth a yearning that is powerful but threatening for a living being.
Still, I believe it is our assignment here to experience both things to the fullest, at the same time: The expression of the self, as a singular and defined human being - and the unity with all things. So it's not a unity where I vanish in the cosmos, and that is the difficulty with Neptune AND Pluto.
To let these energies help you to open up to that connected ness, but you have to let them go through you, not hold them up. The self always wants to fixiate everything, because it cannot experience that oneness of all beings.

So Neptune can turn into drug abuse and deterioration, Pluto can become a murderous devouring jealousy, because you imagine that intensity to be in one human being only, that you're in love with……

In my current relationship, I have Mars conjunct Pluto in Scorpio and Mars trine Pluto in Sag/Leo.
Also Pluto/ Venus DW as trine/sextile.

Sometimes I'm very frightened and I have fears of getting destroyed, because I feel like he has the absolute power over me and knows my exact Achilles heel.
But then I remind myself that all dependency is mutual, because everything is interrelated.
You are just not destroyable.
And besides that: It's the best Sex I've ever had.
It brings an intensity to the relationship that can turn into much inspiration.

I have Venus conjunct Pluto and trine my Moon natally….so I really need to learn to let go and stop grabbing things
My jealously is killing me sometimes…and makes me feel unbearably vulnerable….but it helped me a lot to read about the outer planets!

Hope I didn't bore you to death

I'm dealing with the same aspect right now (Mars/Pluto, conj), and let me tell you, from the Mars persons perspective, i feel the same as you. Being around this person just makes me feel so alive. But, as I'm not free to feel this way, i hide it. I'm trying to learn to let go of my feelings.
