My best friend has her Sun in my 9th house (intercepted in Virgo). What do you want to know? IP: Logged |

Yay! I want to know anything in your connection you associate with this overlay and how you experience her Sun in that house in particular.------------------ Anomaling around since 1911. IP: Logged |

I could imagine this house being of signifiance for me as it is symbolically resonating with my Sagittarianness. It always intrigued me that I seem to have a liking of Virgos. Espcially Virgo Sun in women. With men it happens too but not that often, though I do feel an attraction to Mars or occasionally Venus in Virgo (but there has to be either a Pluto or Jupiter aspect connected to the Virgo in men ). Anyway as for this particular overlay, not sure I can point everything out. But what comes to mind is that while we are leading different lives (she is married mother of 4 children for example), there is a broad common ground in terms of "life-philosophy". We do a lot of talking about that as well, our thoughts, theories, concepts, ideas about life and in particular how relationships work or why or why not or under what circumstances. A lot of thought exchange, which helps both of us develop our own idea how we want to live life. It does not need to be the same thing, but talking with each other helps gaining clarity about what we really want.
We also were a great team at university, I am convinced I would never have even made it to the finals without her. Because in this instance her more conventional views back then did not leave me any choice but register for the exam as well, despite being fearful of it (she was as well, but she was inhibiting that typical Virgo planning/ scheduling and that you should do things "at the appropriate time", a view I completely lack or lacked, but helped push me towards the exam as well). On the other hand it was me having to do the discussing with the professors, cause she was too shy at that time (things change though, well having children did her good in terms of building selfconfidence and assertiveness, just as her Aries-Moon would lead you to believe). I experience that as a very supportive mutual exchange and support in terms of personal growth, though she clearly is the more active one in our friendship, much more initiative than me (only her Sun is in Virgo and her IC, for the rest she has Moon in Aries, Mercury-Venus-Mars-Pluto in Libra, ASC in Cancer - she is Mrs Cardinal ). EDIT My Moon is in her 9th house, too, btw. So that might be the reason for the mutuality and me being more receptive and responsive than initiative. It`s usually her who initiates talks about philosophical things, too.
Anything else?

I have Sun in 9th. In-fact, I have Jupiter, Neptune and Mercury also in the 9th.The 9th house is the "teacher" house. And has close affiliations with Jupiter- the planet of experiential knowledge and academic learning. What would you like to know? IP: Logged |

Aries23Degrees, this thread is about a synastrical overlay. Besides, if I wanted to learn more about the 9th house Sun in the natal then I would go to A2 ^^------------------ Anomaling around since 1911. IP: Logged |

Well this was already said in a different way but...I believe that your friend can teach you or show you things you didn't know before that can be really beneficial. Spirituality might a theme you two discuss somehow.I like 9th house connections in sinastry and I admire people who have well aspected planets in the 9th. It's a very interesting thing. IP: Logged |

My ex has his Sun in Leo in my 9th (we're still friends), and a good female friend has her Sun in Virgo in my 9th.Immediate connection and lots of interesting and deep discussions about a wide variety of topics with both. I love them to death, but both are difficult relationships emotionally. My ASC is in Sag. IP: Logged |

The other I discovered that one of my favorite youtube occultists is a Taurus which means his Sun is most likely in my 9th house. If that's the case, me like this overlay! But there's a chance he puts more stuff there. I wish I had his DOB, ehh.------------------ Anomaling around since 1911. IP: Logged |

Every Taurus who's ever had their SUN on my CHIRON. That's such a huge, confounding variable, I'm gonna let this one go. It'll likely muddle things. IP: Logged |

Heh. Speaking of aspects, I suspect his Sun is conjunct my Mars which rules the 8th, is the apex of a yod and trines NN exact. If not his Sun, then something else. I also have a wide opposition to Pluto and I can see his Sun sandwiched. This would fit so much it's not even funny.------------------ Anomaling around since 1911. IP: Logged |
