Would you say that people with this kind of synastry, even if they have lovely aspects to each other and even saturn aspects, will not be in a relationship or if they do manage to date, the relationship will not be long lasting?

Nope, no conjunction.

I had a friend who was interested in this guy and I saw no conjunctions at all in their synastry. Granted I didn't know the guy's ascendant but the lack of conjunctions was a red flag for me. They never got together, though they seemed to have been attracted to each other.

I once had a great but short lived relationship with a guy with whom I had no conjunction except that his ascendant was exactly conjunct my descendant. So we had this dw ascendant/descendant conjunction. We really liked each other and looked very good together, but we had no other conjunctions to hold us together.
