I would really love to know how you go about figuring out what you NEED in a relationship based on your natal.Having read lots of threads on attraction, especially Lotus's thank you, I get that you need to look at the 5th, 7th and 8th to determine these patterns. But are these different to what you truly desire and need in an established relationship with another? Is there something else we look to in the natal? And then how do we translate this to synastry with someone else. If you having amazing synastry with a person, what do you look at to determine whether the needs are matched? not everyone likes conjunctions and trines right? I'm learning, enlighten me please IP: Logged |

I check the strongest planets in the chart...the other person should have similar traits. In my case if there's no Pluto or Saturn aspects in the other person's chart it won't work. I tried, big mistake. No tense aspects to planets in fall or detriment either. It can be stressful and exhausting. IP: Logged |

Hi EmGem. First it helps to identify what you WANT in a relationship. Lifelong commitment, domestic partner, mutual personal growth, someone to party with, one night stand...? Each of these has specific corresponding astrology parameters. What you NEED may not match what you desire. After you figure out what you want, confirm that the signals you are broadcasting align with your goal. If not, you have some internal adjustments to make first. Clear aligned vibrations are more powerful at attracting what you want. "I would really love to know how you go about figuring out what you NEED in a relationship based on your natal. Actually the whole Western half of the chart corresponds with others. If your goal includes personal growth and development, look at Sun/Moon, ASC, Venus/Mars, North Node, Vertex. Mercury and Jupiter for communication. Aspect Mandalas Pattern Completion represent mutual power together. "And then how do we translate this to synastry with someone else. External relationships are secondary to your internal relationship with your Self. Examine your own chart for a sense of what your nature is. I recommend astro.com AstroClick Portrait, and Love to get a general sense of your own makeup. You can also use these tools for information about prospective partners. IP: Logged |

Ok so for example: if we look at natal aspects such as moon/Mars/Saturn conjunction how do I know how I need someone to aspect this stellium to feel loved and nurtured for a lifelong commitment? Would conjunctions to this or trines to this be more harmonious for me? See what I mean?IP: Logged |

Thanks Soltze. I have also just realised that I can't be with a non plutonian person. They just don't get me and Pluto is my chart ruler. I also have my sun/merc in the 8th. IP: Logged |

Oh yeah...I have Moon/Pluto in the 8th. So it's one my requirements too. You asked about a stellium? I would prefer a trine. The conjunction can be good or bad...some energies don't mesh really good with each other.

Don't people say that if you have lots of natal conjunctions then you would prefer conjunctions in synastry, lots of trines you would prefer trines etc?Is that how it works? IP: Logged |
