Quick question, charts elsewhere in the Nodes&Furies thread some 3-4 weeks back for now.

Patterns include:

Venus/Mars midpoint opposite B's Amor, square Moon
Valentine on B's Venus/Mars MP
(Amor 2 square Venus/Mars MP, wide but as if echoed)
Eros/Psyche MP square B's Valentine (conj A's SN)
Eros on B's Eros/Psyche MP
(Drac Eros/Psyche MP conj B's drac Psyche?)

What are you supposed to do with something like that?

Male-female energies (sexual and spiritual?) mixing with love, or... what?

Where do such midpoints stand compared to conjunctions or direct aspect hits, say? Which trumps the other or is better to have?

---

The Sun/Moon MPs have an opposition to NN-Saturn and a square to Jupiter, both midpoints touched in some way. Venus = Venus/Pluto and Venus/Pluto=Uranus? Also present is a Venus opposite Osiris DW and a Mars conjunct Isis on top - with Isis/Osiris midpoints hitting the same spot.

Amor-Osiris opp Venus
Isis trine Amor, conj drac Amor
Drac Amor-Osiris opp Amor

Isis 2 conj Valentine (drac same conj by 1)
Drac Valentine ~18 Aries near Isis/Osiris MPs

The Isis/Osiris MPs are a degree apart, 19,5-20ish Aries, They're also near or conjunct B's 21.12 Aries Moon, B's own square his 21.07 Capricorn Amor if nothing else. Mirroring or echoing to A having Amor conjunct Osiris at their own end, and draconic those square the Isis/Osiris MP? What you want, on some level?

Thank you for bringing this back up in my absence. Need to get to bed now before fall asleep in the armchair again, but hopefully someone will say something about midpoints versus "direct" aspects or all the above before I next get to come around again. Can discuss the felt effects later if desired, just wondering about the astrology.

If it's at all helpful, my SNODE is 0° conjunct my ex producing partner's EROS/PSYCHE (and VENUS/MARS). I do think it may partly indicate (or further 'confirm') our karmic soulmate 'status'.

Heh. Nah, it was Mr. Square whose Venus/Mars=Sun hit my SN, this is a slightly different dance. Like, how Eros = Eros/Psyche compares to a direct Psyche conj Eros aspect, for example. As well as the Eros to midpoint contact the above example also has Eros quintile Psyche and Psyche sesquisquare Eros so it's not entirely in the air otherwise either, but the exact midpoint hit seems the stronger thing out of those. I just don't know how that'd compare to e.g. a direct Psyche conj Eros aspect and if that's stronger still in any case. That it's Eros hitting the midpoint seems to make things more eroticized, but if people see the above more as potential crises points as the midpoints get formed via oppositions and squares in natal charts in many cases, that'd be also good to know to compare views.

Well, EROS/PSYCHE differs from EROS or PSYCHE in the sense it's the united form -- the blended energy of EROS and PSYCHE.

To that end, it seems anything which hits it will activate it and bring to bear those themes and ideas, for the one whose midpoint it is.

Technically both people. Eros and Valentine conjunct and square Eros/Psyche midpoints, Valentine less accurately.

Bump for answers on the original question front in any case.
