Which do you prefer to look at and why? For the last few years I have looked at both, but they're usually very different.

For ex: Composite w/my current SO - We have Moon opp Uranus

and our Davison - we have Moon conj. Uranus

That's just one example of how they're different so I wanted to see which of the 2 charts you all refer to / rely on

TIA

Hi!

As I know, composite midpoint chart it's about how the outside world see your relationship, And the Davison chart it's the the answer why you are together.

Venus-Uranus aspected in both charts (even very different aspects) may indicate that your relationship is flowing in the energy marked by both aspects... for example: love at first sight, lots of space for you two and sudden break-ups and reconciliations...

A relationship Venus-Uranus can be anything less boring, I know this very well

I really choose Davison Chart.

a midpoint composite is based on astrological positions. a davison is based on calenderical calculations. only the sun and moon have mean motions which can be described by the davison. all other planets are subject to periods of retrograde motion which are not reflected in a Davison. as a consequence the Davison is a philosophic description and a midpoint is a actual astrological description. I use the midpoint as transit are reflective of actual positions. and timing is most important to me.
