basically, this person and i are working on a music project together. i've never vibed with anyone creatively the way i do with him. i'm also incredibly, intensely attracted to him & like him a lot & can't get him out of my head, but have a hard time reading him because he's so ... i have no idea. he shows interest in me sometimes and is a GREAT and open and sweet creative partner/friend when we're alone, but sometimes seems to ignore me when we're with other friends. :c what even is going on here? how do i approach this?

There are a lot of gradients of attraction, here. The physical, the playful, the metaphysical, and the karmic.

The physical attraction = His Mars conjunct your Sun, his ASC in your 8th house
The good vibing interplay via music as a medium = His Jupiter conjunct your Mercury, the ruler of your big Virgo stellium and the ruler of your Moon. It's also loosely conjunct your Venus - the ruler of your chart! This is the ruler of his Moon. Pretty big deal when it comes to creating basic compatibility at its most solid foundation.
The metaphysical = Your Moon opposite his Neptune. You guys are a generation apart, so you're likely to have not experienced this planetary aspect before. This is why your thoughts are often inexplicably filled with him - there's also probably an eerie kind of psychic connection neither of you can put your finger on. Also, your Moon is trine his Pluto. This lends an obsessive quality to the dreaminess that Neptune underscores. You'll begin to feel weirdly possessive of him even if you've never been the type before to do so.

We do tend to mysteriously be working on/questioning the same aspects of the project at the same time without realizing it, and then getting a kick out of it when we approach eachother with similar ideas. (:

There is an obsessive quality here too that I don't know what to do with -- I feel like it's very hard for me to understand how I really feel about this person because of it. Do you think there might be a similar thing in his mind that helps increase the awkwardness?
