Anytime the AC and IC are near to each other, especially with SUN or another personal planet on the other's IC, there's a deep and sudden feeling of simpatico, providing the one for whose IC it is, is emotionally mature and able to handle the connexion. I feel the VENUS/MOON conjunction along the MOON's IC is able to do just that.

Plus, I love that wide SUN-MOON conjunction in Cancer.

As to why the immediacy? We've got a Mutable Cross formed within what appears to be only a few degrees orb, between the NODES of both. Wow! There's a deep, resonant karma here, compounded by the Cancer SUN square the other's NODES. Technically, this would be a skipped step, but the bizarre occurrence of the NODES crossing makes this irrelevant. Instead, anything that's squaring the axis will act as a skipped step, since it's already conjunct the individual's SNODE.

A bit about that; he's here to complete something he failed to do prior; that's the overall message of the SUN/SNODE. As it's rising for him, this is a VERY significant, if unconscious, driving force of his life. Curiously, though, it's her NODES which lie along the Aries Point -- within, it looks, 1º. (29º Pisces). She's primed for notoriety, though it could be variable given its late Pisces placement, and in her 12H. He may prove very instrumental to her in this regard, actually; I like that it overlays his 11H, near his 10H.

Nonetheless, and dependent upon orb here, we might count his CHIRON as being square his NODES; it could be within range. In which case, her SUN's right there. Bam. This is, again, a profound emotional connexion, in which the two might find themselves easily united in an unconventional manner -- something which goes against the social construct; puts a new spin on home, family -- the nuclear family, and what counts as such a 'standard'.

CHIRON is a wound, though, as you may have heard -- our deepest one. In late Gemini, with her Cancer SUN there, it would be uniting these two forces. I'd have to delve more deeply to really understand what's going there. Love that his MOON is in Cancer, though. That can really help to ease into the Chiron wound; especially with VENUS. This can be extremely helpful, when your skipped step is CHIRON, and you've got to deal with it. (Ask me how I know.)

Now, the composite is also powerful and binding -- that 12H/6H MOON-PLUTO opposition, less than 3º from the ASC/DSC. Wow! And, of course, the Cross is now Fixed -- with the NODES along the 10H/4H (fitting, given the Cancerian energy) -- and square the MOON/PLUTO opposition.

I'd be concerned that these two could come passionately together and blow apart just as dramatically -- except for CHIRON in that tiny sliver of a 3H, sextile the 12H MOON and trine PLUTO. These two have communication on their side; their connexion is profoundly emotional above anything else. It's true that their dynamics are more akin to lovers than friends, yes, but this is an emotional bond with deep karmic roots.

Now, you may be wondering about the SATURN opposite the aforementioned CHIRON. Fortunately, it's trine the ASC, with NEPTUNE (in a very loose conjunction) trine the MOON. A lot of these potentially problematic energies are being 'quelled' by trines and sextiles. Even VENUS is exactly sextile MARS.

It's a very nice set of charts. I wish them all the best, although, I'm not thinking they'll need much luck. Just to make sure to channel all of that energy into pursuits that help him heal his deepest wound, to succeed where he once failed, and to help her rise to a position of notoriety, as is likely important for her own mission. I'll, again, have to look more deeply. This is all cursory.

Well, I dont know. Her previous relationships were longterm. She's an easy going person and doesnt really struggle with keeping relationships.
