Everything that I've read about my and my ex's chart tells me that it was "fate" and soulmates was thrown in there. But could I be wrong?

Hi you need to post the synastry too, for evaluating a potential soulmate connection. Btw, I think fate is in everything, even in a transitory relationship; it may not last, but it could be an important lesson or part of our evolution.

Whitney and Brandon ...

That's very familiar to me.

Have you registered a new account on LL? Been here before?

Yes, it does look very beautiful. However, I've heard that the Saturn/Ascendant hard aspects are extremely hard to deal with.

This has been very hard to deal with. He wants to remain friends but I'm really hurt by him.

Huh. How about that. Well, that alone tells you something. I'm very familiar with a 'Whitney and Brandon' relationship, but, forgive me -- it might not be here. I'm something of a 'traveller' of sorts. I'm presently aware of two other 'versions' of LL across the universe existing in multiple eigenstates. Short version: I've seen some other dimensions, and a couple with these names featured in a particular post.

So. Welcome to this LL.

I'm glad to make your acquaintance. At least here.

Astrologically, this is a Davison, which is still new-ish to me. But basic theory is that it's read essentially like the composite, but instead can show the 'story' of the relationship.

Having SUN/MERC and VENUS/MARS in the 7H is, indeed, lovely. Especially the close trine to 12H JUPITER. Might've actually been rather protective in some ways. Sure, cSATURN square the cASC can be rough, sure, but it's also undoubtedly a karmic thing. You're gonna see that.

The MOON trine SATURN can ease some tensions, too.

Nothing's really jumping out at me, though, to be honest with you. Not that it isn't there, just that I'm not getting enough to give me full detail the way I'd prefer.

Take the CHIRON/URA opp, for example. That's going to create some deep instability in the relationship due to URA being the chart's ruler. And, CHIRON's close enough to the IC (and in the 4H) to indicate a bunch of deep-seated, childhood-stemming psychological issues to cause problems -- especially in a way that's going to threaten the couple's general 'identity', per se.( It's mostly the square to MARS, but VENUS comes along by association, and, being in the 7H -- it really puts the whole relationship under fire).

But, again, it depends upon who's got what, and where. If anyone's 'activating' either side of the opposition with their natal.

You have my full attention, especially with the two other versions and in another post?!

under fire being a negative, correct? Thank you for your insight. What kind of detail would you prefer?

It puts it under stress, definitely. That's a tight, strong opposition. Would you post your synastry and natals as well? That would give me a much better idea of what's going on.

Thanks, Yanmorg. I appreciate it. I'm slowly but surely reorienting. It's felt a bit like I slipped into the twilight zone since Thanksgiving.
